claw block is based on the trapsin skill passive which gives 50% block to all wdm and spell attacks, so it "blocks" the shock aura in samael that causes worms to spawn. has absolutely nothing to do with the gear besides using two claws
Did i mention samael hidden aura reduces your avoid? But it didnt reduce your claw block's avoid
