Hey with the recent bug fix of the energy scaling for Trinity Beam, I figured I'd write a guide for those interested in playing around with a really strong and cool looking Oskill.

This character is a great Fauz farmer as well as most end game charms such as Kabraxis and Uldy. Also quite viable for lab tho I did not record any lab runs.

Concept and what to look for
This skill is extremely efficient at farming just about anything. I set mine on my left click (incoming downvotes?) and just hold down my left mouse button and press shift every time I want to attack. So I basically stutter step my way through every zone and things die! Don't even have to aim at anything. Pretty great!

For general farming as well as the vast majority of ubers from 100-125, aim to get 135 pierce to each element. To ease the fights vs harder bosses, aim for 170 pierce.

You should look for spell damage over single element damage as well as general elemental pierce over single elemental pierce.

Leveling from 1-100
Make yourself some starter TUs and +all skills low level runewords. Make sure you keep your resistances capped and either go with Mind Flay if you wanna play as a caster right away, or use Blood Thorns. Both of those skills will destroy just about everything on very minimal investment (I mean so minimal you can socket blue items with resist gems and you'll be good).



I'll be happy to add more information or clarify the existing points/make improvements to the guide if people are curious and want to know more.

I don't believe the unveiling eye will outdamage the SSU setup

I'm currently using almost your setup

Royal circlet - wizardspike - robe of steel - rabbits foot - lunar eclipse / Dementia - celestial barrier - ring of regha (haven't found one better yet) - elemental band:

Laying on a damage at 24k - 30k with 170+ pierce.

Using Euphoria instead of rapture.

Also I haven't really used umo or mo on my su-ssu gear yet.

Also this spec is better on a neutraldin. Get both better frames and that free pierce. You lose ~70-80% spell damage for way more regen, life, frames etc. Still can get 25k dmg easily and can reach 200 pierce with good gear so Sammy is possible as well.

First of all a question: Can you please explain what you mean with Equivalent EF

Then some notes: highest all skill affix on crafted special shields is +2. Highest spell damage affix is 30%. Before MO you can only get 30%SD and 16% more of one of the 3 elements. What is your point? That crafted shields are better?
Also: before I craft a Special Shield that has 2 all and 25-30 SD I'd better use

Yes crafted shields are better. Unless you're going for sammy. With unveiling eye you can easily reach 170 pierce required.

Yes highest is +2 but you're forgetting the unveiling bonus for +1 skill and 20% spell dmg [Aka 50% spell dmg]. Now the eerie bless can bless up to 60 ef flat w/ unveiling bonus it comes out to up to 85 ef in a perfect world.

About the ivory tower.. missing that single element is a HUGE difference if you haven't realized how the spell scales.

Ok it wasn't clear to me to what particular point of the stuff you quoted you were referring to. Would be nice if you simply said

Also it is more about the benefits you can really get from that item.
the first 3 Hidden crafts are only making up for 3 all skill loss on the helm slot so it is mostly the sd and 2 all skill that you really gain.
I can see that this item can get you the far in damage but speaking of isolated item slots when using it is a bit misleading.

And please tell me more about the exact damage scaling of Trinity Beam, seriously. For me it seemed that those 3 components simply stacked.

Because they add up into a sum losing an element is like losing 33.33% of the scaling you would get from spell dmg/elemental dmg.

Loosing one of the three elements on one of the gear slots I would not call HUGE. Assuming you have 150% tri ele sd without shield: then using 30 SD over 30 light + 30fire would lead to total damage loss of roughly 3.6% (1-840/810)
If all 3 SD values would act as separate multipliers it would be a different story ....
