I agree, not even life, just the dmg, tho i just fresh-made a tempest sorc and her performance
with 1 temest relic and Light sorc set is way superior to Rising Dawn in fauzt:
- auto turret targetting
- 320k def (w/o shield)
- op sustain with life per kill
(not using Mistress of Pain yet so i have 12k hp on 130lvl so far)

I'll prolly rework paly to Trinity Beam for boss melting since this ladder relics are very accesable

I made this build for s29 start. It's honestly really easy to get all charms with minimal gear on it. Level up to hell with Unholy melee. Get a sacred rare bonebreaker and shrine craft Rising Dawn on it at 110 and swap over. The only place it struggles a bit is fauzt, you actually need some good gear and crafted jewels to make that efficient. I think for farming fauzt, might be better to just swap to neutraldin when you get to that point.

Some tips for 110-130:
- Honorific belt / gloves are really good right at 110. Make a couple of honorifics with PMSD, spell focus, flat energy, and magic find. Socket with Tal or Topaz. You can upgrade honorific gloves to quantum bevel / yaerius mediation. Upgrade belt to yaerius alembic / lilith's temptation
- Socket Sur runes in your weapon for better mana regeneration and sustain. Make sure you hit your cast speed breakpoint. For Bonebreaker its 196 i think, so you can socket a vex rune in your weapon to help until you get other gear/charms
- shrine craft a heraldic shield with bear stance on it for physical resist
- Socket Tal runes in your armor wherever possible
- The skull lord blackguard helm has re-animates on it which get you killed in duncraig. Shrine craft a super basic Hundsgugel to get you thru it or make Hierodule in a hundsgugel base, or get veil of the tainted sun
- xazax / kingdom of shadow / cathedral of vanity / ascended riftwalker etc all very doable with minimal gear. Fauzt like i said is the only weak point but you can respec or get a bunch of jewels crafted when you're ready to go in there
- for spec, i took 1 superbeast, 15 blessed life, 1 divine apparition, 10 spark of hope, max servants of valor (for farming charms these are super good), 10 conclave, max stormlord, max tainted blood, 1 acumen, max slayer (really good on riftwalker for handling the ice adds), 10 endurance, 5 chemistry (helps with mana and farming charms), 3 mediation. put as much energy in as u can

Would you care to elaborate how reanimates get you killed in Duncraig?

Reanimates triggering barrel throwers offscreen. It was way more terrible back then when barrels offscreen were invisible, since 1.8 I they found a slight solution by making them appear onscreen with a sliding animation, which is great since it bothered a lot of people over the years.

I see how it is an issue, but honestly don't see how it would get you killed.
If you are a LOS spam build, you go through dunc carefully anyway, and if you have enough dmg to kill slain souls fast enough, you usually catch up with reanimates faster than they, well, reanimate. And if you lack damage, then you just do los edge spam.
For melee range builds, all dead slain souls are at close-midrange, in which case reanimates triggering barrels is not an issue at all.

In both cases, players will only get killed if they are careless, which is the mechanic that's been lacking since instakill barrels and witches were removed (can't say I liked them, but they added a certain flavor to the game. Teleport dunc was garbage though). There has been too much of shift towards "Stack stats to win" instead of "play carefully to win" to be honest.

Specifically on this point as well, were the fuses invisible too? Because I never had invisible barrel problem with any of my chars (well maybe an occasional death or two, but I do not play hc so I mostly don't care).

Nothing was visible before that fix I mentioned. So when triggered offscreen they were completely invisible. You just die for no reason. And keep in mind barrels were way more powerful before- one shot essentially. It was pretty annoying.

CMBurns wrote:Hi. It's no secret that Rising Dawn is fun and pretty strong. You've seen Sins, Zons and classic Dins play it, but have you ever decided to become a Horadrim and pick up where Cain left things off? Become so obsessed with acquiring additional experience that nothing else mattered?

Probably not. If you had, then your damage would look something like this:

This can replace a good craft and yield more damage IF you can manage to F cap elsewhere.
The Darkness
These have less MO space, no EF, no potential for life, but are easy to find and give good damage. Aim for good rare rings tho.
Vizjerei's Necklace

Low +skills, high PMSD and energy. For a rare amulet to beat this, you need really high PMSD and XP. And you still need to make up for the energy loss.

Good sources of experience:
Glove crafts: Up to 6%
Helm crafts: Up to 10%
Belt crafts: up to 10%
Rings: Up to 6%
Amulets: Up to 10%

Vial of Elder Blood: Up to 25%

Book of Laz upgrade: 5%
The Sleep with Baal Trophy: 10%
Getting good rolls on all XP charms

XP Shrines (these are everywhere and it's a free 75% spell damage)

Jewelcrafting:
There is safe way which is crafting with Zod runes.

Then there's the crazy balls deep middle of league and you've got 1000 ACs to spare...Using Lum runes. You'll want to roll EF and 2% XP. Ideally with energy or PMSD.

Leveling:
It's a din.

Skills:
Stormlord SMAX
Tainted Blood SMAX
Superbeast SMAX
Blessed Life - Until you're at 50% Phys Resist
Divine Apparition - 1
Rapture - Enough to hit max FHR and FCR breakpoints
Sacred Armor - Everything you have left

Conclusion:
Yes I will break 100k this season.

@Ben: Where's my damn 100% deimoss? :(
