Hi all.

Preface: As always - I only showcase experimental fun/meme projects - no powerfarming or crazy bossing or whatever. Maybe the Thread will grow with funny ideas from the community.

Whirlwind lost it's weapon restriction and thus gave a great new flexibility of item choices.
While the new Windcarver Tree with all the supporting passives is really hard to compensate if you use a

Veil King Grasp is a proc that carries a fixed amount of poison damage that can only be scaled with poison pierce. It seems to be spread via a low wdm multihitting invisible Nova.
I tried to show the mechanic and damage potential of the proc in a small clip along with gear and spec.

str/dex: for gear req + capping flat defense Bonus from Deathlord -> rest into vit
Playstyle: Put a RIP modifier on one of the items and whirl through mobs. Let them run into the proc while chasing you.

I am still gathering gear for a damage oriented setup. SInce I do not play and trade that much this season it will take a while. For the most part the build only exists on paper. Until then we canenjoy matdoo's farming oriented Viz Fury Setup :)

I totally overlooked those items. Tbh, I mostly look for spell procs rather than wdm procs. Unfortunately many wdm AoE procs are on uni class weapons so barb can make the best use of it.

Yeah I skipped all setups where you only gain one frame with whirling - Melee Sorc is one of them. Unholy pals, too.

I played around with dualAstral on Beta and it was a satisfying experience for me. As for the Dual Viz setup - I already mentioned that I want to try to push it's damage at end of season. I really enjoyed your showcase! :)

If the damage of this proc would make up for the most part of the overall damage - the missing AoE is not that big of a deal caus procs can only be triggered by the main hit. You will def loose some small AoE clearing potential, though.
