My build: https://tsw.vn.cz/acc/snapshot.php?char=Envenomated&id=1659355156

Things that would make Phoboss easier/faster:

1. Damage depends heavily on the quality of your 'snapshot'. When you cast Snake Stance it will retain the skill level it was cast at, even when you change gear. Before I enter lab 10, I cast an extremely high level of Snake Stance with gear that gives + skills. This includes the use of Relics, Lorekeeper gloves, Suicide Notes, Corrupted Wormhole with Barb skills and high + skills gear.
Unfortunately, Snake Stance only lasts about 20 minutes and I usually leave Phoboss for last so I can clear the lab first. That means by the time I fight Phoboss I have to recast Snake Stance without all the fancy gear. I do keep 2x

in my inventory though. Overall I lose over 100k damage in the tooltip, so these kills are much slower than they theoretically could be. Tooltip damage can easily exceed 1mil with the correct weapons and Firedance. However, I like to play safe with

into labs because I find that introducing more variables into labs often causes unnecessary mistakes which result in death. My tooltip fighting Phoboss is around 750k.
2. I don't have Laz or Void trophy. Void trophy would increase my Snake Stance damage and Laz trophy would allow me to use another jewel or rune instead of a max cold resist pgem.
3. I'm using 3 Farnham's and 1 Demon Core UMO. This build could be optimised better with more UMO's such as Farnham's and Periapt's of Life (and Sigil's of Absolution).
4. I have a couple of really good corrupts: 10% AA and -10% poison pierce. A few more good corrupts such as Poison Spell damage could make a big difference.
5. My jewels are good but nowhere near optimised. The ideal jewel has attack rating, 4% poison spell damage, flat life and vit.
6. My sleep has Dunc and Vizjun trophy on it. The Dunc trophy is really powerful but the Vizjun trophy is somewhat wasted. I used the Vizjun trophy before I had Shadow Refuge relic (which caps my physical resist). I would probably opt for the spell damage or attack rating Awakening next time instead.
7. I didn't realise there were 2 Phoboss so the second fight was unexpected. I played it badly but got lucky.

Some notes:

1. This build can clear all content in the game excluding Deimoss (and probably Sam - I haven't tried yet). It's excellent for lab bosses because you can use 'hit and run' to poison and stay safe but not a great bosser in general because it's quite slow.
2. After some testing, defence doesn't seem that important. I've only got 1 point in Runemaster for the max ele resists and most of my sockets are jewels rather than runes.
3. Life is important. I put every point into vit and have over 30k life. All my jewels have flat life.
4. Attack rating is important. Whirlwind applies life on hit from skills, MO's and UMO's. The more you hit, the more sustain you have.
5. Poison spell damage and poison pierce are necessary. I've sacrificed quite a lot of poison spell damage on rings for

is an awesome offhand for a massive boost to spell damage. My pierce is capped at 200%.

Overall I think this is a very accessible and fun build. Poison is underrated in the current meta and definitely worth trying!

Lol, nice work. I had a lot of complaints this patch that the bossing on this build was bad, but you've clearly proven them wrong. Going to cite this video from now on :flip:

Something of note for you, T4V HAS killed sam on this build using a Cain's setup. Give it a try when you get a chance

Thanks for the feedback ya'll. Really appreciate it.

I can see how a Cain build with ridiculous spell damage and insanely high level Snake Stance could kill Sam. Would be very difficult/expensive to optimise though!

Hit 150 on this build. Here is a snapshot of my final level 150 setup if anyone was interested in running this build.

Wondering what type of damage thresholds you’ve found with this build to break into Lab 6+ or even for farming Scos. I imagine this build would be able to speed through these areas until higher labs (8+). Currently playing scorpion blade Sin so have some of the gear to transfer over to my barb eventually but feel like the damage scaling would be different between Ww and scorpion blade.

Yeh, this build will speed through lower labs and Scos to some extent. However, the big trees and druids take quite a while, even with really high damage.

I would recommend running 2x

is necessary for the 15% physical resist in labs if you don't have
Relic (Shadow Refuge)
.
You'll need 145 pierce and around 500k+ max damage on the in-game tooltip for the content you mentioned.
Higher labs and fast Scos clear you'll need around 750k+ max tooltip damage.
You can get well over 1mil tooltip damage if you use 4% poison spell damage runes or jewels, instead of focusing on life/AR jewels and you have
