well I can explain in detail why I said so in CN channel...

40% aa is a trap.. only useful if you want to play AzureGT. the important thing is , 7f-5f morph. so you get 1.4x dmg , as 40% dmg boost it's same as barb's 100ds. the only issue is. Holymelee pal itself is a little below avg performance.

If GT not nerfed this season, it should be definitely more dmg doing holy Azure GT with the relic than unholy Azure GT before, if only the 20 secs playstyle not bothers much.


However, with the nerf of GT, solitude and 2 UMO limit this season, while lab mobs ele resist stays the same, hard to say. I can figure out it can still sweep T10, but I guess it will be hard to do 5/6 pillar Dei.

And that 20 secs thing... Just successfully persuades me away from pal, esp when I see the new relic for barb

Can you really use GT with dragon heart? Iirc it’s melee only. As for azure dmg part. We have a dedicated player using azure and vit is same as last season. Only GT itself nerf. With solitude change I don’t think 6 abyss deimoss can be done, even it can it need to use other techs instead of standing inner fire. but 5 abyss is an easy kill.

Feels bad to get banned man; I wish the source for the mod was available somewhere so I can look at it instead of having to ask mods/devs and interacting with people like walking on glass...

We have similar experiences tbh I have no doubt in your attitude/ enthusiasm and technique for this game. Just hope you do well in work again

Yeh, Lionheart limits melee, so no Lionheart if holy GT.

If compared with unholy Azure GT pally in previous ladders. Both in 5fpa morph, same. Dragon blessing + 40% aa much better than stormlord, but GT itself this ladder losses 40% weapon dmg while mobs ele resist unchanged, so it covers most of this gap. No Lionheart and lossing Tainted Blood for doing holy GT, so no Arkaine's Valor use since no Lionheart's TCD anymore, and Natalya's Deception is not a good enough alternative option for Azure bds with 2 UMO limit. In this case, I figure crafted armor is needed, maybe with Breath of Thaumaturgy, not sure need test. No Lionheart or Tainted Blood also means his def is low in lab. Solitude nerf and 2 UMO limit, all these together, make me feel that holy Azure GT pal's actual dmg and actual performance this ladder in lab will be worse than unholy Azure GT pal's actual performance in previous ladders. I cant figure out any practical use of the new pal relic except doing holy Azure GT which is however also worse than GT pal before.

I have lost interest in pal ever since I saw that 20 seconds thing. esp when there are other good builds from other class to do.

I admit 20s TP is tedious. Part of your thought is reasonable such as Thaum armor. While the 40%aa is only for unholy pal. I still feel this relic is only for wdm holy melee pal. or AzureGT unholy. The worst part for azure build is solitude change imo. By whatever mean, it can't return to old version with unlimited regen so bye deimoss 100%.

Very true. The use of the relic is so limited. It is like, even u add 40% aa and a 5fpa morph to Cheru holy melee pal, it is still not good enough compared to those GT builds, xbow, whrilwind, wyrd sorc, scorpion blade/death star asn, or those 5fpa Cheru ele/phys melee sorcs. Such stupid a relic.

wrong, tooltip was never updated but it has always been exactly the same as the wolf skill

If u mean the barb relic it can drop from the last boss in the game, so even getting there will require a really strong build. If u are playing on TSW u can try to trade for it tho! (:
