And that's the great idea! Noone realised that even assassin in D2LoD got one summoning skill, whilst the Median XL one still got not even one.
I also pondered some kind of robot but i'd like to suggest those one:
; which is still not involved to median while that one:
; is quite obvious (a2, a5 mob). U got it in Planescape: Torment files already ready, in Icewind Dale 2 also (as a summoning spell). In original he can teleport, cause monsters to flee and got op melee attack, can cast offensive spells and is very independent (and dangerous, with no buff on char whilst). That could be truly worthy BRC skill (i mean animation, not the skills set), some kind of... demon slave? Or demon-hunter, that seeks for other demons to kill them. Anyway, asssassin requires even one summoning (and tanky summoning indeed) skill.
Obliteration is a placeholder. Since 1.0 there's been a plan to add a new skill for that slot but it could not have been implemented until 1.2.
Yep, it is well known
Any idea why noone uses it?
No, Marco, i haven't. That's why i wrote those post, ofc.
wtf half of his post is in blue text but this part isn't
what did he mean by this???????????????
omg ^^
Weird, in fact you made tousands of invisible mobs and cannot make one invisible (even temporarily) character's skill.
yes because invisible mobs =/= invisible playerto make a mob invisible you just have to change his visuals
but since mobs don't have eyes and don't really care about your visuals, just making a player "visually" invisible isn't enough and some mechanic has to be added
That why i idicated The Cloak of Shadows mechanics, to base on (below).
Adding its effect to any new assassin skill can allow her to stay ''invisible'', just for mobs. It can be some kind of buff, aura, dunno - any idea can work with it.
Making assassin invisible for players - well, may sounds obvious but if player can't see invisible mob with empty animation so he can also temporarily be unable to see buffed assassin. Mixing both effects may give final result, which is invisibility. I know it can be hard to be done, but it's still in range (even, of imagination).
Anyway, i still miss the trap duration, trap ideas and mostly - traps, that are traps, not just some kind of spells, in assassin skill set. Even making them work like a Slayer (stationary trap with auto-attack on enemy while it's near) would make assassin much better.
