What happen with ORB OF ANNIHILATION on Wands (sacred) ? I used like 15 shrines (x10 each) and couldnt do any!

maybe you're not using a high enough qlvl or ilvl necro wand, or you're just not lucky

Is this true? Serious question. I always did BRC before starting Destruction, kinda like a mid-term exam, b/c why would you do harder versions of Butcher, TA, and Koth on your way through Destruction, then go back to Terror and do easier versions for the BRC? Have I been doing it wrong this whole time?

By finishing A1-A5 lore meant ofc vanilla without Ubers, i know for some builds Fauztinville terror and brains can be cakewalk but when i was playing from scratch with less popular builds and playing that build from first step to Roque Encampment then it was natural to do vanilla "lore" before Fauzt on terror. LC2 isnt big deal even with undergeared char so after that was heading straight on Destruction, if i have found on my way Sacred Base which i was interested with crafting then i had reason to back from Destruction to try my luck with Shrine drops on Terror Fauzt and doing brains if clearing level was more smooth.

Cant tell a word yet about current patch changes because didnt played it on SP and just starting Hardcore only on realm with time for gaming very limited, so probably will play even more guardedly.

It just depends on your build. In the past, getting BRC done for druid and paladin was an immediate task simply because you wouldn't die from a fallen one breathing on you in destruction.

Should I still use the Rare Downlevel recipe if i plan to reroll something with shrines or does this negatively effect the rolls from the shrine?

This recipe allows you to create yourself some baseline items. These items can be helpful to craft low-level items with space for Mystic Orbs.

Rare weapon/armor + rare amulet + rare ring → reroll item as level 1 rare item

Rare Downlevel

This recipe allows you to create yourself some baseline items. These items can be helpful to craft low-level items with space for Mystic Orbs.

Rare weapon/armor + rare amulet + rare ring → reroll item as level 1 rare item

Depends on the item you want to use that on. Use this list to see which quality level the base item of yours has. Then use this affix calculator (found under the point "crafted items") to calculate the affix level. Then you scroll down and look at the max affixlvl, to see which stats it can spawn with.

For example: sacred leather gloves have a quality level of 72. put that in the calculator with ilvl 1 and you'll receive an affixlevel of 45. That means most good stats can't spawn on it, but the maximum required level is low. (around 38)
If you do the same now with sacred gauntlets, which have a quality level of 86, and insert in the calculator ilvl 1 you'll notice that the affix level is 73 and that you can still receive affixes with a required level of 64 on those gloves, which means it didn't have much of an effect, but you still receive worse affixes.

Thanks man - that actually helps a lot! Been thinking about doing that with my Nagi, so that i can get tons of MOs on it. Definitely not a good idea after checking those lists!

Why can I not view extended stats in my "Character" panel? "Next" and "Previous" arrow buttons do nothing. Also, stat point buttons are always red, like I have points to allocate, even though I have 0 of them

Where do I get the book of summoning from? I read its supposed to drop from The Summoner on Terror but I killed him 20 times and got nothing.
