Where do I get the book of summoning from? I read its supposed to drop from The Summoner on Terror but I killed him 20 times and got nothing.

Replaced with:
Dark Portal: new skill which allows you to open a quest portal upon killing certain bosses
* obtained from the Summoner on Destruction difficulty

Yea dude I got that and the dark portal skill but I want to do the black road challenge with butcher and stuff.I couldn't summon the butcher in the Hole2 with the dark portal skill.

Why can I not view extended stats in my "Character" panel? "Next" and "Previous" arrow buttons do nothing. Also, stat point buttons are always red, like I have points to allocate, even though I have 0 of them

You can use D2Stats Reader from the Tools in the menu. It shows tons of stats, and also hides garbage items, and has a customizable drop notifier that alerts you when a nice item drops.

if im equipped with 2 items with the same % ctc does it mean that the chance for it to cast is stacked/doubled?

How do I counter the enemies that make it so I can't heal? I literally can't progress because the arcane sanctuary is too clumped and I'm melee and I can't heal. It was a problem on hatred now its a road block on terror. Like what why does the debuff have to last so long? I have to port to town and just sit for like 15 seconds just.. why do so many things that punish melee god damn its already shit

Latest patch removed the dark summoning mechanic. Now you need to kill the summoner on destruction to get the dark tome. Cube this with your class charm for the oskill. The previous summoning ubers were also moved, check the patch notes.
