After reaching 4 FPA, I realized how quickly mana runs out so I tried witchmoon amulet for the proc, but it turned out to be disappointing. 1% ctc on kill didn't trigger as often as I hoped even in a place like fauzt

%ED is the most important one. Otherwise you can MO what you want. Str, or even Dex if you need more to equip a shield.

I haven't done sword and board with my wolf, so it is a bit tough to give you a real answer. In my experience DC is one of the harder places to level/farm with wolf before solid gear and levels. I spent just long enough to get my charm (and I still need to get the +2 druid one) because the enemies would hit hard and often. I found that since I did not get the bonus avoid from the ranged attacks it was just not worth the death timers. In other words, if that gear is enough to keep you alive I would imagine you could get solid farm times in the zone.

At the time I was using Erawan, Megalith, Natha, Deadfall, Creepy Crafted gauntlets with ctc burning veil on kill, some random rings/ammy, and a void in a greatsword with 90IAS. Now that I have more experience and understanding of the build I think there are a few things I would change and probably would have had a much easier time.

My issue was mostly that when I used harb to hit a pack I frequently would get killed by their attacks. The bonus defense from the shield (and possible block?) may make your results a lot better since you benefit from good %TCD at that level range. Assuming either sword is set up for the 3FPA breakpoint you are going to put out the damage, so it is mostly a question of whether you will actually survive warping up to them and also be able to see the barrels to dodge.

The set has a lot of bonus strength which will boost your damage decently well, and the shield gives bonus MotW damage to boot. There are a lot of parts to the set that do not really benefit harbing, but there are still good things such as life on strike, strength, resists etc.

That being said, if I had to make a guess... I think you could clear DC but I hesitate to say in under 10 minutes. It will all be about death count whether you can hit that benchmark. This all assumes you are around level 115. If you are higher in levels the extra points into Lifeshield, Faery Fire, and Symbiosis+elvensong is a huge boost to survival in the zone and will adjust my guess accordingly.

Thanks for this reply. Were you at the recommended FHR breakpoint with the setup that you had trouble with? I have lots and lots of really good jewels and shouldn't have a problem hitting the breakpoint. My character is 118 now, I am considering hitting 120 and finishing the 120 charms before respec.

I am probably not the one that recommended it, but I can say that hitting the FHR breakpoint makes a pretty big deal in survival since the longer you stand still the slower you warp off the pack you are on.

I forgot that DC is a 120 zone, so adjust my response to 120 for the "assumes you are around" part of that. Just remember that Duncraig is a tough spot for a fresh wolf. It may be worth getting your Xis items first, as that zone is a lot easier to handle due to the innate dodge.

Yeah it definitely is. Walking into Dunc with 0% Phys res and low defense makes for a bad combo, especially on this build. It's easier to farm elsewhere first like Teganze then come back to Dunc once it's more of a faceroll.

Thanks for the replies guys this is super helpful. Do you guys think farming teganze for the Xis runes will be pretty fast with the gear set i have above as wolf? I already have bases ready for boots/gloves/weapon, just need to farm the runes. Or will my treewarden be faster? I have nimmenjuushin and the coldhunger helm. The Life on kill with treewarden I have read is really strong in there.

Can you show me your gear you have in your videos? I have farmed xis wep, xis boots on a other char for this druid but it feels so weak and dies all the time. Any tips would be very helpfull how I can improve it.
Im currently lvl 122 and got most of the charms for 120.
