Hello,

I would like to create some "unusual" characters which are based on proc dmg.

I would like to have a character with physical/magic dmg proc(s) and one character with rainbow spell dmg procs.
Could you comment your opinion on bellow characters? Good idea? Bad idea? Interesting gear recommendation? Any other proc based toon idea?
Note: I am looking mainly for melee type characters (suits my play-style). I am interested neither in "lazy" play-style nor caster/range characters. But feel free to post some idea if you want to share some interesting build ;)
Note2: I am playing self-found characters so I would be happy if you will not recommend only end-game items.

There was a build called "Procmancer" back in Median 2017. Stealth wrote a guide about it as well you can check that for inspiration. But back then carnage was a bit different skill, it was a melee attack that attacked 5 times consecutively. I dont know if procmancer still works but still wanted to share it thinking it can be useful.

1a used to be a very good build. With the universal proc% nerf and how much ways dmg suck, it's just an a-okay build now. Basically you build like a noctule sin, but with the addition of maxed broadside. Walk into a crowd. Throw broadside out (by switching to a nagi/knives then quickly switch back to Judge-Ligeia combo), then start spamming noctule. Fun in lv120 areas and under.

Another decent proc sin is ATMG. But as of its current state, she'll only be able to farm dunc, TA, k3k and cows with it.

I briefly tested both builds in the latest patch.

Glamdring26: the Massacre from Necromancer is (was) simillar to the Aegipan Druid (I think). I am at this moment in A2 NM with this character and it is quite fun but I am lacking DEF and dying a lot. I am interested in surviveability after lvl 90 with Liveshield :)

NotCube: assassin with Ligeia seems like fun character, I will try it in one or two months. The combination with Broadside is interesting on weapon switch ... I am interested if I can pull this off effectivly

SpamBomb: The Discodin looks interesting ... are the proc's the main dmg source? I guess it is just secondary dmg, right? Actually I am starting Paladin as my second character for proc based build. I am trying to see if

I have tried a unholy melee paladin with ssu short staff (25% trinity beam on attack)
Its cool to play, and its damage is also not that bad with "bad" gear.
Main issue is that the spear requires 1,2 k dex after -req jewels. So i Used it with herald of zakarum to reach max block.
Next "problem" is superbeast block animation. But after all this buil has potential and its an eye candy for sure.
Just stack - enemy res :)

proc chances in Sigma are halved (or worse) compared to 2017 and before . you got yourself some bad timing for creating a build based on procs , so anything you want to put togather now can (at best) be just half as good as it used to be .
