Do totems and minions inherit your -enemy res, or just + spell damage?

How to kill the priestesses? I'm level 35 Amazon and she 1 shot kill my character (for the pirates i just avoid them because they too hard to kill)

You should level up to lvl 48 and then start LC1. Why 48? Because you gain max. increased lvl with each 6 lvls. (30-36-42-48). At this time you can put more hard points for your survivability.

I personally like to get to lvl 50 (pretty quick to do 1 baal run to get from 48 to 50), this way I can use the charm instantly once I cube it, essentially making each priestess easier.

Just remember that the priestesses have lvl restrictions and you have to reach Lycander which is the farthest away @ lvl 50 or less. Karcheus the one nearst the entrance is lvl 60 and Hefaetrus is lvl 70. Bringing along a merc isn't a bad idea either.

There is just 1 pirate. And you have to kill him. You probably didn't enter tran athula. When you get to the twin seas there should be a dungeon very nearby that leads to Tran Athula. Don't stay in the twin seas, that's another uber quest for later. All three priestesses do a high damaging elemental spell on dying, if that gets you orb some resistances into your items, preferably a honorific one. In Tran Athula you just meet 1 pirate who is weaker than the other pirates and a shit ton of amazons who's arrows you should try to avoid/survive.

Make a Honorific gear set (all armor) and MO flat damage reduce they will do next to no damage then, lvl up to 48 or 50 (48 best skills, 50 can use sunstone straight away) or get armor rating of 9000 and they will barely be able to hit you
