Elementals is very strong.
Elementals resist everything but their own element. One easier way to deal with this is to get most of them away from the Great Elemental and kill them a couple at a time.
The Great Elemental seems to stop summoning when the player is off-screen. If you still can't, your damage is probably too low. Of course, make sur to have Azmodan/Kabraxis charms as they deal a lot of damage from their element.
