Can someone point me least gear dependent builds to end-game ubers? I'm playing assassin but having a hard time surviving.

Depends on the build. LaEK is usefuls for casters. LL is used by most WDM melee builds.

with some Nih runes, hit some times and you get the buff.

All other items tier 6 honorific with -enemy cold(+lightning) resist (just -99), cold spell damage, reanimate, thul rune in the sockets. +400 life amulet with +3 to 5 to all skills is super nice, Emperian band rings are always nice. Later you can do sacred shrine crafts but that barely will increase your damage, shadow and bloodlust is enough. But a circlet helm with +3 to All Skills and an armor with +2 is great. But to be honest, most of the ubers can be done nearly naked, all you need is the shield and limpet lazer.

Without any eaten sigs I managed to clear most ubers (I was lazy and had way worse items, I had 3k damage but with the mentioned items you will hit 14k), bull prince rodeo and Belial die after 0.5 seconds when they drop their resistance. Judgment day upgrade is possible the moment you hit destruction A1. Legacy of blood was the first uber I did and that one usually is hard for a sin. Yashari Sanctum Diablo, Andy are kill able with that gear too, Baal and Meph need Physical or magical damage (read more expensive gear), Valthek with the set you get there, but do that later when you have most charms.

For Toraja don't use limpet lazer. Spawn tons of your summons, then blink on the archers to stun them and finish with nova bomb, place it directly under their feet for maximum damage. Re summon Edyrems and move forward, then you either farm on Lilith's Morlus or just kill her, craft the medallion and you are done.

For Cathedral of Vanity: Either summon 1 shadow, blink in the upper corner and spam limpet lazer into that direction until everything is dead or put your gear into the cube, lure them away, come again and wreck the ball. Or when you have done the black road challenge use PS to make them run away like little boys run from a priest. Sometimes the ball is invincible, then you just have to make a new game. Then summon your army, spam your lazer, use the book of summoning and be swift on your feet since they have a nasty on death proc. The same strategy can be used at Azmodan, or use your summons to tank, blink to stun some enemies around you and lazer to finish him off, he dies rather fast but sometimes he is immortal too.

For the island of the sunless sea: The boss is always cold immune, if you don't have a nova bomb claw yet you can kill him with 1 Phase bomb and your lvl 1 fire or lightning trap, he has really low HP. Phase bomb also breaks his cold immunity but they tend to focus the mobs.

For other ubers like Quov Tsin/Kabraxis/Zorun Tzin you need a sacred rare claw with +xx to oskill Nova Bomb (Use Ornate shrine to craft it). At Kabraxis and Zorun use both skills to kill them faster. Play strategically, stun the creeps at Astrogha, keep her phased and cast 3 nova bombs on her then she will blink away and you cast another 3 nova bombs on her, 1 res drop can one hit her. For the others precast some limpets in a nearby wall, some nova bombs and a phase bomb, walk there, so that when the boss blinks on you he stands in them (they always blink so that they stand northwest from you) then blink away and run, if you are lucky they drop their resistance in that moment, blink on getting hit is great too, for Zorin lure the rats away, clear the totems and repeat.

The gear with which I killed Astro and Kabraxis: http://imgur.com/Bv7sZaD notice that I barely dedicated it, I still had the wrong armor, ring, amulet... Phase bomb covered the missing - lightning res.

Kingdom of Shadow and Wretched Hive needs a bit different gear but that's cheap too. Don't use tiefling form!

and 2 Turquoise Gem word to cover the way.
KoS needs a random rare claws with oskill danse macabre, a noctule in the other hand is great but you can use any claw just to be able to use the skill. For Wretched Hive 1 bloodstone word, no danse macabre needed, but -199 lightning spell damage and high block) or instead of gemwords just socket your stuff with the gems instead of ort runes, high defense, FHR, FRW (keep shadow refugee buffed) are useful. I didn't try it but I have the theory that gear with blink on getting hit would be helpful there.

For Vizijun: Ignore the enemies, wear a dragonheart and some other stuff with jewels that give you ~50 life, use shadow refugee, run to the boss, hit him with purify, take the charm/trophy and leave. I did it with maxblock and 1.8 seconds blink timer. Eat an apple, jug potions, have decent life steal and cast a wyrd here and there to fully regenerate yourself while running, I think spamming vampiric icons could be useful too.

Unformed land boss is easier with open wounds (OW), 1 wyrd should be enough for that.

For Laz see Marcos built. Use something similar for Startled Witch.

Ghosts of Old Bremmtown - throwing knife set is enough otherwise expensive gear. Just don't die.
Uldyssian - Limpetlazer and Nova bomb stuff is enough to get to him, then you can use the throwing knife set or some other built that can apply OW. At one stage you also need an item with damage reflected.
The Void - fuck anger, the rest is somehow doable but it wasn't nice with cheap gear, the end fight is super annoying.
MarcoNecroX - especially fuck this shit, if someone manages it with a sin please upload a video.
The triune - shit charm, shit boss fight, I won't torture myself with this one.

Arihan was one of the last charms I got, and I'm probably never doing it again (because it's basically exactly the same thing with every class and build and gear setup and it's obnoxious), but I wouldn't call it a shit fight... it's just different and can take some learning or practice (and possibly a lot of patience if you have horrible luck). The only thing I'd really like to see changed is the bat teleport instagib issue, but even that can be worked around if you try enough times to figure it out. I spent hours and hundreds of deaths failing, but once it "clicked" it took all of 15 minutes.
Issalfarstafr
made all the difference in the world (there's probably cheaper options but I had one laying around). What's not to like about 10% Slow Target on a charm? Either way, do it just to be able to say you've done it. Give him the finger and never go back, but do it at least once.

(both easy enough to come by) with Queen of Blades. Max block, 64% avoid, a lot of potions and some Town Portals, very high Magic Resist, some Life Leech for sapping his beachball summons when you can. Very-high-level Storm Crows and Broadside. Have some dual claws in your offset and Bloodbath (the innate assassin skill)/Crucify hotkeyed for more heals and block while Broadside is up. Get a feel for when he's going to shadowstep you and have a wave of Storm Crows out and drop a Broadside, him getting hit by either/both deals a fair amount of damage. I never did figure out the exact mechanics of his healing (couldn't tell whether it was just garbage luck with 95% hit chance and his teleporting-out-of-Queen-range-while-I'm-otherwise-occupied silliness or something else), but it *IS* doable. A success may take you an hour of listening to magic novas and popping beachballs after 30 failed attempts and it's pretty gear-dependent, but it's doable

No need to do it with a sin, but yes, every boss has to be done once, I am stuck at MNX.

For that fight you don't need any expensive gear either, I think a sin shield with charm is more consistent than the book. I also played with the idea of bat strike for even more time but never actually tried it.

Druid mana problems

Is it worth it to MO rings/amulets with regeneration instead of UMO's to fix mana issues? Plenty of instances where i've needed to use mana pulse which puts me in a tight spot.
