I just got Wintry Majesty drop yesterday, any cool builds I could pull off with that item? I was thinking about cold-focused Totem Necro with Frozen Orb for farming and helping totems against bosses. Ideas?

Wasn't sure if the info in existing threads are outdated with the new change to spell damage formula..

Which of these affects trap damage for assassins?
- spell focus (any idea?)
- energy attribute (any idea? Not sure if the new patch changed things)
- minus res (I believe no)
- spell damage (I believe definitely yes based on my testing)

spell focus no
energy no(strength if you have tinker gambit)
minus res only from curse/debuff and implement V.II
spell dmg yes(read subterfuge for more info)

Regarding spell focus, I notice vizjuns trap set gives spell focus as a set bonus. Any idea why? Lol.

Trapsin set was reworked only in term of single pieces but full set bonuses are at half garbage. Spell focus and reanimates totally pointless there, stats... well maybe but it's still only few hundreds hp and mana, nothing more.

Ok thanks! Would u recommend a5 Merc as a good compliment to trap sin? I believe they have a debuff that lowers elemental resists?

Nope. Difficulty and drops are fixed in SP - not to be changed.

Created a complete character guide
I had unholy pally + rising dawn few ladders ago. Was very fast farmer and easy to play.
Later saw some guides, all recommending unholy + rising dawn.
Now playing holy + rising dawn, also not so bad.

So:
- superbeast gives ~80%SD late game, tainted blood gives spell focus - on unholy
- incarnation gives ~160%SD late game (guess innate elemental does not work on rising dawn) - holy

More SD, less SF, overall damage similar - why guides keep recommending unholy? It's because solar flare buff?
EDIT: oh, +1 faster frame on cast, but better defence on holy... Hm.
