Meanwhile i need help on choosing base item for Sur+Xis Runeword for Sorc torso

I'm very confused whether the ETH or the normal base would give me higher def, i'm planning to abandon cold tree after obtaining this baby, need a solid cover up for the def loss.

Did some calculation, if someone could point out i got it right?

Lamellar Armor ETH Original base Def = (4397/146)*100= 3011
Ceremonial Armor Original base DEF = (5293/192)*100=2756

Given that i get 400% ED from RW
They should be respectively
1) Lamellar Armor ETH = 3011*4.46=13429
2) Ceremonial Armor = 2756*4.92=13559

--------------------------------------------------
+25 Crafting Points
+(3 to 4) to Sorceress Skill Levels
+400% Enhanced Defense
Replenish Life +(3.1875 per level) (Based on Character Level)
All Resists +(41 to 60)%
Damage Reduced by (40 to 45)%

Lamellar armor - 2007 defense + 50%(cause eth) = 3010.5 - This is the base defense of the armor, roughly.

Since you know that the 400% ed from the runeword is static, just add the 46% to it for a total of 446%

3010.5 + 446% = 16437+

For the Ceremonial armor you have the base (2755) + (92%+400%) = 16309+

The docs seem to be slightly off so the defense will be slightly higher but if the math is right , eth armor will have an extra 128ish armor. If you go with the eth one, make sure to craft a nice indestructable jewel.

- if inside the party , the number of players has not been preset ("/players x" ) , then the drops and xp will increase according to how many players join in . if however you allready have "/players 8" then it has no importance in how many players are really inside the game , you allready are set for max drops and max xp

NOTE: if suppose there are 2 players in the game and fight togather on the same screen or not so far as a distance between eachother , they both get the XP from the monsters killed ; but if one fights in the Blood Moor and the other is far away in the Burial Grounds they will only benefit from the xp from the monsters they killed on their own screen .

I would think most of the stuff it'd be useful against would simply be immune to it most of the time, unless somehow Magic Immune doesn't stop Banish or something

i read it only remove the top x% of a monster's life (about 20%?). Beyond that, if the monster had 80% life, banish does nothing. So it's unsimilar to Tremor and banish is actually not as strong.

Did a Belladonna respec, but only managed to recover my scythe (I'm a melee necro), lost EVERYTHING else. Feeling like shit now. Please tell me there's a workaround for this.

I feel your pain man. Happened to me too, didn't realise stats on item enabled me to equip the item itself. Died and lost said items. You mainly lost TUs I guess, should be able to get them back pretty quick. :)

Thanks Nitz, qweqwe and anonymous.

Yeah it was mostly TUs, with an Ama set piece, and a good SU boots (Angel's Wrath).

I do miss Black Dwarf, though. Thought it was a pretty good amulet. Can I create Unique rings and amulets, the same way I can make TU weapons?

Yup, 1 corpse max. Live and learn.

qweqwe that's not how banish works.

let's say banish removes 10% of monster hp, if you cast it on a monster that has 80% hp it will remove 10% of that i.e. 8%

Oblivion yes you can create unique amulets and rings, but you have no control over which one spawns and you can only get tiered ones, black dwarf is sacred

Is it known where is better to farm for great runes? Toraja or yashari sanctum? As in drop rates (I know yashari has more rune possibilities but i'm just thinking average time/rune or average kills/rune)

I think Toraja/Fauzt is better in case of chance to drop great rune per monster. Yshari is kinda cheap version of uber for farming any gear and/or runes overall.

Yshari is worse, because there's no GR drop bias, it does not have a bigger chance to drop than a rare/unique/set item in there. So GR drop have to compete with all other drops unlike in Fauzt/Toraja where most monsters have increased chance to drop runes.
