A fire rune only adds 25-50 fire dmg.

I prefer to go for Rha runes. if your fire pierce is already at -170, i like perfect Amber gems. fire rune & perf rainbow gems only add tickle dmg, so i stay away from them.

I notice in some of your Uber videos that you have 5 Harvesters up at any one time. How is this possible if you leave Harvesters as a 1 pointer once you switch to Maple Bow?

I seen in videos you dont even have rings and amu and you are on full mana all the time. Even without mana leach? I have 20% mana stolen and I am out of mana all the time, it barely sustain on pack of mobs. On single target I am without mana in seconds.

How to sustain mana with maple bow, it will be even worse without mana stolen?

i have 2 skill points builds: one for lvl 1 to lvl 115, the other for when I switch to maple bow at lvl 120. you probably say an early-game video :)

mana stolen doesnt work on elemental weapons. the reason im full mana is because I MO'd mana regen in my rings, amulet and quiver. mana problems go away with character levels and attribute charms. as your mana pool increases, mana regen becomes better to the point where mana becomes a non-factor.

and early game, you shouldnt be maxing cascade and heartseeker so theres no reason to go out of mana using a base 1 point skill. you were probably watching videos before i get to iotss (where i only have a 1-base-point cascade and heartseeker)

Having just started playing this mod, I really appreciate this guide!!! I have a question, would leveling with the Wasp Sting(Maple Bow Tiered Unique) be better if I find one? I know your guide says to switch away from physical bow AFTER ubers, but the maple bow dropped early for me.

2. Magical (blue) sacred Flamen Staffs can randomly have high +sk. If you get one, you can put off crafting this item for a while.

3. Sometimes I would find myself suddenly healed to full HP. This puzzled me until I realized that when the bear buff heals "3% of max health per second," apparently that means 3% of the bear's max health per second. The bear's health is enormous. Almost any fight can be changed from hopeless to an easy win if the bear just happens to get a timely hit.

4. With the physical build, everything was super smooth until I suddenly hit a wall at Hell Duriel, where I probably died 20 times before killing him. This seemed like a really bad omen, but after I got past that point, things got easier again for a while. As I progressed to 115, my kill speed kept going down. I made a mistake here: I was reluctant to transition to the elemental build, because when I equipped my (mediocre) craft, my damage went down in d2stats (and the LCS) even accounting for pierce. What I didn't fully understand was that once you respec to max Cascade and Heartseeker with 10 points each, you'll gain massive amounts of bonus fire damage and the weapon's own stats aren't nearly as important. In retrospect I should have switched much earlier, even with a less-than-amazing craft.

5. A somewhat exploitative tip for Kabraxis: Lure him near the red portal, then go through it. On the other side, there is a column in the middle of the fire ring. The bear will hit the column repeatedly and eventually you will get the bear buff. As soon as you do, pop through the portal and just spam Heartseeker. Pop back out through the portal when the buff expires, or if you get a bit low, and wait for the buff again. Kabraxis is pretty doable for this character anyway, but if you're having trouble, this makes it easy.

Problem is the str cost. As you notice the build remains on its base str for the entire game. it would make little sense to sacrifice 100dex for str just to gain an extra 10%dex. same story for zealot rush/wormtongue. Because youre so low on charms, wielding tier4 items require a significant dex sacrifice. All 3 together might be worth it in the end but that would require more AC farming. These are all temp gear anyways so I just try to make 1-115 as quick as possible without lingering.

but that said kab is so freakin' easy on bow druid it sounds like a waste of time to lure kab to portal and then wait for a bear proc. he already dies within a minute with bad gear.
