any tips for HC assassin? I mean other than don't play HC with assassin

I started with throwsin, then switched to nagisin after Tristan...but I think I'll switch to throwsin again at Act 3 (before kurast)

Definitely stick with throw for a good portion of the game.

Get an a2/5 merc asap. Don't let anything touch you

a caster with limpet laser is the safest way

@Chuck: I thought so - I even tried it from the beginning (cluster mine & limpet) but at such low level it wasn't anything I like

Quite a useful link. Always was curious, but isn't median a bit different? Shrines poof faster than runes it feels like. At least from what I could tell from farming void. So shrines fall in the ten minute category with runes? Or is it based on the color of the item (I.e. How fast will an enchanting crystal poof (orange text) versus a shrine or rune (orange and purple, respectively)?

any misc items fall under the 10 minute dissapear window, incouding shrines, crystals, oils etc

For Fauztinville - I find the easiest way to ensure you don't miss GRs is to catalyst of destruction all the items with white text (and purple if you're playing /players3+). Great Runes are uncommon in that they display two colors of text (purple and white) - if you get rid of all the white items immediately, they'll pop out when they hit the ground. With 250%+ mf there aren't many white items anyways.

@Ever_A_Noob Actually I have only 50% MF when using best gear. But I didn't know till today that great runes have two-colored name, which somehow solved my issue itself because it's easy to recognise. Thanks anyway

you can use d2clicker to automatically "destroy" all defined item types (colors) on the ground (usig cube+catalyst of destruction)
