Quills of trap rat can proc on strike right?

It is weapon dmg so it should proc on kill, but what about on strike?

Yes, its Weapon Damage and it procs on striking and on kill.

Tbh, there are not much procs going on with a trap rat druid compared to other multi-hitting spells/characters/builds. The target has to live long enough ( cause most targets die really quick from quilstorm). On kill proc tho are something else, like ice-nova is useful in TA and Duncraig, don't know if nowadays those can be frozen.

That is the main skill i want to proc, i'll look for other cc procs on kill

Any skill that has your character doing a Melee attack animation (barb's stormblast, paladin's blood thorns, assassin's crucify, treewarden's wildfire, etc etc) can trigger on Melee attack. Only Melee skill that doesn't trigger this is amazon's thundercrack.

And pounce

Shunpo also doens't proc on meele im pretty sure.

Pounce and shunpo aren't melee attacks, therefore they wouldn't proc on melee. Any skill that has a tele-strike is not melee. Thundercrack is the only of its kind, as per Marco, when it was added, I believe.
