Clarify what we're voting for then please, because it isn't necessarily clear.

Is it as general as the poll question i.e. 'I prefer multiple variants/one variant, period.'?

Or is it a question regarding existing k3k and dunc maps and if they should get reverted to previous state?

I voted no, because it's hard to find a spot to put new content (areas) because of limitations, another variant is a good option for playing anything new, maybe not right now but possibly in the future at least a variant for another uber, if not an entirely new uber. Just as long as it won't turn one or the other into "easier", i don't care for preference but they should have roughly same difficulty and be equally time consuming. So now i can only wish for old k3k to have it's totems rearenged or if not that maybe just a new totem so that all necromances will have immunity, and it would be fine, nice mechanic, shrines spot, a few sets/uniq, not too much but just enough to help to on your way to harder stuff. But with Duncraig it's a bit more complicated, maybe marco can redo or split into 2 parts the areas of Fleshcutter, Assur and the one that leads to Eyegouger, and block the path to Assur from right as you enter, and have it accessible in another way, so one will have to clear more rooms before he gets to teleport to Assur somehow. I don't know, maybe this will make the variants similar and stop map rerolling, which i didn't realize was a problem in the first place, i play whichever because i don't replay one over and over again just because i feel i am good at it, and the others "suck" or whatever.

And i'm also trying to understand how ppl think and why they voted yes. And i don't think it's an issue of easy vs hard, i believe ppl are just happy with learning one map (doesn't matter which variant) and do that from memory, which bores me after a while. And i want to but i can't really be impartial, because i just want to be surprised each time i start the game and enter an area that has variants, and thus i could only think of ppl wanting to learning ways to exploit the one variant, or the inexperience of some and jack up prices for stuff, basically anything nasty to make me feel my option is more valid than others. I may be wrong, but it doesn't really matter, i'm still gonna enjoy the game even if variants are taken out from it.

Why not make a new uber on a pre-existing map?

Like you go do khalimgrad and have a 50/50 chance of rolling it or a new uber.

Because then people try to go to A and they enter B? As I mentioned before, the Void already covers this randomness / map rerolling aspect, we don't need more.

I agree on the rerolling aspect, however using existing maps to create new content in them sounds nice.

not because of the map aspect itself, it sounds nice simply because any new content is nice
