Introduction
First guide ive ever written... However ive taken this character from lvl 1 to 148+ as an arcane sorc this season(2.6). It could mostly done SSF as well.
This build is a great allarounder - the starting spec(arcane torrent) is a bit slower on the farm side compared to other classes, however the single target is fantastic. The mana sweep spec done with the staff/boots is an excellent farmer with great single target - however a bit squishier
Pros
- Can be played easily as solo self found.
Simple scaling vectors - mana and +sorc/allskills
Destroy everything in the early game.
Easy going through hell and the early challenges
can do all content in the set
Mana shield is incredibly strong
Most trophies are not helpful for your build, which saves you a ton of time!
Cons
- Lots of Buttons
Simple scaling vectors - limits gearing options
the set is BIS(limited sense of progression)
UMOS(zayls/apples of discord) pseduo required for some later content
mana shield falls off when your at zero mana and you have to watch your buff icons... Mana shield off = most likely dead
have to play around buffs
IMPORTANT - none of the mana skills on arcane sorc scale with spell damage or spell focus so these stats can be ignored! Literally for arcane torrent/immersion, the higher the slvl and mana pool the better! Mana has better scaling on damage compared to skill levels generally speaking!

sammy fight - started fight at 3mins due to opening portal and realizing my res's were still not setup correctly for the starlight shield used in the fight plus forgot to put my energy stats in from respect. but you get the point
