Hello, lately iv'e been playing a lot of Median XL. and noticed in some if not many areas, the loot is massive, as well as are the mobs to kill.
Sometimes when you want to target a speificic mob and there is loot on the ground, you might missclick and loot trash or whatever item is on the ground accidentally. Yes there is the /nopickup command you can issue at the start of your game, and this is very handy in my opinion.
Because sometimes I get distracted, I might forget to type that command and even forget about it, leading to some unwanted expectations in some cases.
I asked if this can be a launcher option in a future update so we can choose to have nopickup by default on, defnitely doable as d2stats has an option for it already as well.
Now, because I stopped using Plugy and any third party software/tools, just clean D2 LoD 1.13c and the Launcher, I wanted a solution to this to be straight in game with my fav settings. Here came in help the famous 'The Frozen Keep forums' which is a source for many nice things.
Took the time yesterday and finally came up with a solution to this 'problem'. I debugged the client, and changed the toggle to be ON by default.
Here is a modified D2Client.dll, for Diablo II LoD 1.13c only, which you can replace in your existing installation folder and each time you launch the game, /nopickup will be set to ON by default. So no more missclicks on loot and so on. You can always disable it of course by issuing the command /nopickup as you would do earlier to enable it.

This is intended to be used in SP games only, online is not possible at the moment.
Note: This is for D2 LoD 1.3c Only! I might be able to do it for other versions as well, but please don't try to use it with other versions of the game.
