Can't install on Linux throught Wine

Seems like the launcher is attempting to use command CertUtil to verify integrity of Diablo II install but Wine doesn't have it nor can it be downloaded/installed externally (it's should be included in Windows 7 onward but Wine simply doesn't). Is anyone else having this problem and if so, did you manage to circumvent it somehow?

As of now, there's no fix for it. You need either windows 7 or windows 10 to play it, but maybe Solfege can tell you more about it. One solution would be: partition your hard drive and install windows on one of those parts.

It would be great if the launcher did not have such a dependency in the meantime though.

Make sure you're running a clean install of D2 and using the Linux launcher, not the Windows launcher.
