Question about Mystic Orbs

Hi,
after improving the damage of my Low Level Banshee twice in a row with a mystic orb i ask myself: Is there any restriction to use mystic orbs on items? I have searched the forum and read the full doc but can't find any clue about that (and ingame is no hint, too).

btw: Which way the price will going down for items like mystic orbs? At first the prices have been the same (15k) in the camp as they are now in Lut Golein (just entered Gulein). But at the end of Act 1 the prices have been reduced. Has that something to do with quest progress?

Aside from the level limit, there's a natural limit of 5 MOs of the same type per item. Unique Mystic Orbs (UMOs) are only limited by character level.

And yeah, MO prices drop a bit. I assume since they're part of the vendor pool, they're affected by the same price drop mechanics as other items when you complete a certain quest per Act that helps the respective town.

You can only put 5 of the same type of Mystic Orb per item.
Another limit is your level, e.g. you probably won't put more than 25 different MOs into your item as it would put it over 100 minimum level requirement.

As for your second point - you probably have something like "5% Merchant discount" on your items.
