Morde as an adc replacament is just dumb because he will get poked and kited to death and he won't outlevel the opposing lane regardless of his new feature (gets full xp in duo lane when he gets the last hit) because he won't be able to safely farm,but I guess somebody at Riot just threw their arms up in the air,yelled FUCK IT,GIVE HIM A PET DRAGON and called it a day as if that fixes anything.

not even gonna go into details,the patch log for him just speaks for itself.
Darius was already slow and easy to kite,now they removed what little movespeed he had(passive),limited his passive stacks to autoattacks and made his Q delayed. Also they fixed his "bug" with E,where you could still pull people who flashed away if it was timed correctly,at least they said they were going to fix that. That's really a smart thing to do to a champion when everyone else has 100 dashes and blinks.
Garen would have been fine if they just gave him the "Villain" mechanic. Instead they went all the way and played around with his entire kit. Basically,nerfed Q silence duration,reverted W to season 1 status except worse,gave E more "ticks" lategame but nobody cares because once silence wears off,everyone will just blink out of it; also E deals less damage when hitting multiple targets xD for a while it was even slowing Garen down by 20% while hitting someone,but people called Riot out on their bullshit and they reverted it.
For now I'm only reading patch logs and not actually playing because wow,what a fucking mess that is

Also the whole "no replay system/sandbox mode because we like to suprise our players" is just disgusting. Even pros got pissed off about it.

I wish league was made by valve. I like LoL but hate Riot so much (though the competitive scene is very entertaining, but even then they fuck it up (DDOS in challenger series and other regions)).

Otherwise none of those champions interest me (mostly because i can't afford to unlock them because Riot are cunts that try to funnel you into spending money on what should be free heroes) so I'm not too angry with them.

2.5s at max level right now. It's melee and Garen has no gap closers other than a movespeed boost. Cho'Gath's silence lasts 2.5s at max level too,it's ranged and aoe. How is Garen's silence "obnoxious" again? I think that champions like Riven,LeBlanc or Zed with millions of fucking dashes and blinks are "obnoxius",a silence is just something that can counter them. Riot is trying to get rid of silence though because it cockblocks a lot of these flashy champions and people can't "make plays",and when there are no plays,it's boring to watch. It's the same shit as being able to hear Sion and Rek'Sai ult - they did it so it's more entertaining to watch. Tbh,Garen's niche currently is countering champions like Riven in lane,so that they become as useless in teamfights as he is. If he can't pull that off,he's completely worthless(unlike some other champions,who can lose lane and still provide a lot of utility - Maokai comes to mind).
Also,Riot's reasoning behind not giving players sandbox mode is "they might get better by using sandbox mode rather than playing the actual game". lmao
Players don't even want a super complex sandbox mode that enables them to make their own game modes - they just want something where they can test builds,damage,jungle paths etc. without having to start a new custom game every time and farming for 30 minutes. That's all they wanted.

I understand why many players want sandbox, but riot's handling of the announcement that they had NO intention of releasing it was atrocious. But as MonteCristo pointed out, there already is a sandbox mode (as observed in champion spotlights), Riot just doesn't want to release it. Their original reasoning (that they went back on) was complete bullshit. Fans/Pros suspect a number of reasons:
a) Riot wants to brand LoL as a casual game, and a sandbox mode "has no place" in a casual game
b) Sandbox mode is too buggy to be released
c) minor reason, but players could figure out more fun ways to play the game in a sandbox mode (just think of how popular URF mode is, now you can have a custom, on demand, URF mode whenever) (which begs the question why the fuck URF mode isn't a permanent fixture in the first place like WTF mode is in dota)
