However I did notice that the twitch pages link to the user's profile on the forum, rather than the livestream.

No they don't, you probably entered something wrong. Either way you should be good to go now.

when the stream is online, clicking on ONLINE leads to the stream. clicking on the name leads to the profile.
also, you can add the stream yourself. it's just another field in your profile.

Additional request if possible: Is it possible the stream not show up as online if the streamer uses a tag like [NoMXL] in their title ? I don't want people to be deceived when they see me playing Dota 2 or Dark Souls when it shows up as live.

Fake. Homepage made my computer crash! (looks nice!!) But yeah, the Forums button is getting a little annoying. Not a big deal for me, though. I always press "Board index" out of habit on forums anyway

we could probably add a filter to the channel title that shows that's it's only online if it has Diablo II or Median in it...
