Increase a little bit the radius in which the "Butcher" can take damage, or make it appear more frequently


Don't forget that the poor fatso is considered as an uberquest. He is meant to be tough like he is now. 20% chance of Pentagram spawn is, in fact, more than enough ;)

I guess you're right, probably I just need to get used to it. It's just that, on first impact, the 20% seemed more like 5%

@Stealthmaster, it was Median XL v.1F9B. There had been one version earlier than that one but it was far, far enough in past and not true at all because I spend only few hours in Median that time (everything was so easy, unpredictable and irrational so I left it. V.1F9B, I'm playing now is far more balanced and simply makes me so much fun that I cannot and don't want to leave it).

because you asked for a new skilltree for each character and marco added new trees just a version ago :) ( Caster Nec,Dual wield Barb, Psi Sin,wolf druid,stomrzon...)


And if this is the thread for suggestions that marco wont read, heres 1 thing i would look forward to:

If Xis Armor rws will be added, can the zod-xis barb rw-helm get druid or sorceress morph instead of stat buffing ? This would make a caster barb fully viable :)

That's not really how it works. There is a bugs & feedback topic, and your post qualifies as feedback, so feel free to post it there.

What I'm against are suggestions that are not feedback, such as, make a new uberboss that uses x and y skill and put it in z map. They come usually in the fashion of "I just came up with this excellent idea" yet in all cases there are mechanisms that are not possible to implement or people just assume the uberquest will play out as they had it in their mind when it actually won't. Eventually it all leads to people theorycrafting and later offtopic which really gets in my way when I'm trying to collect all the bug and feedback reports.

@Marco, most of them. i'm not complaining at MXL or you. it was a simple question about the news of fothcoming Median version and i was particulary focused on skills, i love mostly in that mod! just imagine fun's enchantment when gettin' wind of some new extra skills for each character in median to be added.
i'd gladly assume it, trust me :)
finaly, @Marco, are there gonna arrive some extra skills in justly announced MXL 2016 version?

imo new skills are not really a good idea to implement:

1) The old ones are not balanced at all, adding new ones makes this task even more impossible
2) The game has so many limits ( states.txt especially) that with adding new skills some states need to be used multiple times or other skills need to sacrifice stuff, which leads to potential bugs
3)We can only have an amount of 1023 diffrent skills to be used as procs, adding new skills means a potential reordering of the existing skills in skills.txt which might be dangerous in terms of existing procs ( however i know marco linked all that extremely well in excel)

theres probably some more stuff to it, yet i agree that new skills are somewhat exciting just recall:
