How exactly do you know this? Are you speculating, or do you have access to the dev forums? Because from what I've seen of Sigma's development, I don't see why we can't get an RC1 now. With what Whist has already posted, I feel there is enough to start releasing mini-patches of Sigma under the MXLU guise.
Many changes, mostly a lot of what was implemented since version X / 10 has been about sigma. Think of all that was implemented in sigma and already exists in ultimative. What I'm trying to say is that whether it's called sigma or not doesn't matter because it is getting closer to being sigma anyway.
For this patch I am aiming for balance and fixing the things that are sloppy in the mod. Things like, monsters having
when damaged procs, like Juris Khan or the Summoner, will get removed. Things that are counter-intuitive to the nature of the game progress will be redesigned. So will things that take an unecessary amount of time just for the sake of tediousness (uldyssian). But at the same time, things that are supposed to be top-diffuclty (void, witch) will be hardened too and popular cheese methods will get deprecated. It's also time we see some classes come back to the game, such as assassin. And builds or skills that are too weak will get their necessary buffs to.
But obviously there will be also more content because that's how median works.
