Well the uber is for late game, i don't think beginners-intermediate will do it if they don't have most of the charms and late game gears. Corpse recovery hard??? Well if you die just rejoin like any other uber. For SP i don't know, they have 'tricks' on their own. :mrgreen:

In what way would that improve the game? What happens when someone goes to all that trouble to get the ring, only to have the game crash while completing the uber? As far as singe player is concerned, you're basically saying that to compensate for a 1 use ring, they can just cheat.

I only made a suggestion in regards to the previous posts-charm trading/make players explore the game more. With regards to game crashing I have no answer to that. As for SP they have the liberty to do anything what they want OR make this a realm-only thing (1-use ring).

For players who trade this charm this will make the charm more valuable compare to how much it worth right now.

explain:

- how this won't make the game considerably harder for intermediate players and how it won't make the game nearly impossible for begginers

- how will you keep 50%+ of the playerbase from quitting the mod

I agree current system might not be perfect but I don't see how this isn't even worse.


Im aware of all that, since we are a small group of ppl who play the mod and such drastical changes could make impact on playerbase for sure.

Also there is TG trading and with disabled charm trade less ammount of $$$ would go for keeping server online wich is something that needs to avoided for sure.

Thing is current system is not good and TG trade is part of it wich i dont like that much, but it keeps the server alive and thats what matters i guess the most. It cant be perfect i guess.

I think we should look into other direction rather than trying to prevent charm/gear transfers. As an example i remember times from mmorpg games where crafting was only way to get gears. Problem was crafting required to do long chained quests and farming materials. On the good side the advanced crafters got many offers and requests to craft gears for other people. The beneficial thing for them was - crafted gears had crafters name on it. Some people like to use own crafted gears - gives them feeling of achievemt. I think median should encourage do things on your own and get rewards. Do i feel good using void charm if it has other users name on it ? I am sure some people don't mind that and you could farm own charms while loaded with prefarmed ones ... But still.

8-10 sk1s for arguably the best charm in game right now. Sk1s are easy to get, regarding the price idk I will never trade charms. Personally I think the game will become boring when you have all the charms, this I felt when I was playing on SP. All I'm saying is explore the game/uber. Completing such quest on your own is very rewarding.

If players that sold the void wanted to, they could charge more and potential buyers would have to pay the price, learn the uber or live without it. The current price seems fair though, considering multiple charms can be upgraded at once. They wouldn't be selling the charms if they didn't feel it was worth their time. Yes exploring the game and completing ubers is rewarding but its not for everyone. A portion of end game content is better suited for builds that players haven't played or don't enjoy playing. Some prefer farming items and trading for what they can't accomplish on their own.

Lemme guess Lon, you have got a few upgraded voids lying around and you're dissapointed you can just sell them for 10sk1/100tg and nothing more.

So you just made a suggestion to make void not more fun, difficult or rewarding, just annoying so that less players are willing to do it. Gz.

I would have accepted if you want it to be buffed, it needs some buffs, atm void is literally doing Pride and the annoyance of rerolling maps; the rest of the souls are a joke and Rathma fight is more of a ''welp I died out of nowhere'' annoyance rather than hard (not to mention it's super short if you have any idea of what to do). Only challenging part is Pride maze, and that's because of lag lightning and memorization (which is so annoying and tedious), and of course rathma randomly oneshotting you with invisible rainbow rain/lag when mendeln dies (seriously, gluttony, greed, lust, sloth take less effort than the Ni Vas and manglers at upper kurast).

Also please, tediousness =/= difficulty or rewarding. In fact it just sucks the fun out of the entire thing. You say that the feeling of completing the uber is very rewarding, yet you want to make it so that when players finally do void, they'll be happy for 2 seconds, then realize ''ugh I gotta do the whole uber again, fck''.

we would also have less of an issue if void charm weren't ridicolously overpowered :lol:

with nerfed charms in sigma this should be less of an issue, hopefully that charm will get brought in line with the others. maybe making jitan's gate have 5 sec cooldown would be enough?
