The fuck are you smoking? Walking in median is faster than running in most of recent ARPGs. The only reason for it to exist is because in Median armor rating actually matters.

That's very good stuff actually. Might be worth expanding the item pool a bit to have a little more variety, like that crystal dagger / short sword could expand the melee sorc weapon choice.

And that dervish is incredible, but I don't think Marco would add a new npc in the short term, even if it was viable. It needs a lot of planning (general concept, lore friendliness, weapons choice, weapon graphics, weapon concept, skills, skills synergy, balance etc). But who knows, maybe in the future.

If anything, the remaining unique item sprites in D2 should be used first. For instance:

Carsomyr or Doomswrath for the Flamberge
Shadowhawk for Falchion
Tylwulf or Raging Tempest for Bastard Sword
Mountain King for Tower Shield
Black Doom or Bucking Bertha for Stinger Crossbow

If I missed any secret sacred uniques that have these item types then inform.

EDIT: Fury of Hellfire Trebuchet for the necrobow one.

npc = non player character. aka npcs are basically the people in town. (mercenaries are npcs but meh). wouldnt be new skills or anything. it would be a vendor or something lol. 99% impossible to add a new class or act.

Of course, I obviously meant a new character.

It seems pretty obvious that correctly expressing my thoughts through mobile is a skill that I lack.
I should robably proofread more often

Is OP troll or for real ? cuz I cant get the difference...like this is the most ridiculous post I have encountered in my entire life in all forums I have an account so far...what your saying is remove the early game of median xl mod and just PLOP a huge fat farm fest in the first 20 levels of the game or just leveling in general and then make the endgame a bit more rewarding by for some reason removing the WAY to get into that endgame.Do you think that is gonna be very satisfying for all the newbs/impatient people/ and people which JUST cannot spend that much time to play this mod ?.....
What median xl differs from other mods is exactly that fast progression exactly that fast pace of gameplay and exactly that flexibility in characters which allows you to get away with stuff (the OP skills SA,RC ....etc etc) now don't really wanna ramble on that
In My Opinion
future versions of Median really only need more depth to the mod than it already has except not anything complicated but more things that are just simple not easy but simple and intuitive like you have no idea what this cube recipe for this "temporary" crafted gear is but just by the items that you are getting right now as drops by killing mobs in whichever act you are in, you can figure out what you are supposed to do and collect and craft or grind for...

When I hear Sigma the first thing that makes me want to see is more items for the cube, more items for recipes, more items for ways to buff/debuff/add/remove/REROLL just random items whatever it is either it's a weapon shield armor doesn't matter like there is SO MUCH SPACE inside that cube... but so little of it is being used for actually making or crafting stuff when I imagine the endgame of future median xl I just see this huge list of regents where you just grind and grind to be able to enchant this thing or add a bonus or reroll your weapon into an stronger one! Not 3 tiers of items where you endlessly grind for in a low chance drop uber and hope for the lottery be on your side like it is right now..I wanna see more ways to obtain different types of gear where you could actually use and are equal in power to each other not like right now where only a set bit of items are rarer than others and they really stand out and they are LITERALLY are tailored for specific characters or they stand out and give so much of a specific array of stats that it is okay to use no matter how many better options are out there that are specifically made.. (okay not sure about the rarity difference between items but I am pretty sure that might be true). When I first started actually seriously playing median what I did was try out each character for the whole duration of the whole ladder. I spend at least for early or midgame respeccing with each skill tree and tried them out...flexibility in skills is so much there are a lot of fun or funky builds out there but in items I think they just can't balance with the weight of the other content...the scales right now are literally tilted only towards one side...basically the most superior item type for me are Crafted or Customized ones...
