Is there a way to add a larger stash / some kind of PlugY type functionality to Sigma realm play?

Seems eliminating a ton of mule characters could clear some server space. (I have no idea, I'm not a dev, please don't throw anything at me)

Considering character savefiles are around 7-8 kb each, it wouldn't save that much server space (1,000 characters would be more or less 5 mb)

I've suggested this before and i still think a "global stash" would be great, so that all characters access same stash and this has a few pages to accommodate everything. No more mules or more than one instance opened necessary, but i guess it's not possible.

That allows the kind of twinky dumbness that PlugY offers with Shared Stash, though. Perhaps having it unavailable to characters that haven't beat Terror Baal (there's no milestones attached to him) or something would be a good idea?

I like that idea. I'm not against twinked characters per se (one of my characters had to grind for that gear after all), but they become a hundred times better once they can access full sets and SUs.

Just saying, if Sigma had shared-stash online, I would completely dump single player and play exclusively online all the time. its the sole reason i dont play online right now: im a hoarder and I dislike having to deal with mules / different accounts.

yeah i think a lot of people feel this way. i can understand peoples dislike of twinking but to me losing out on a lot of potential sp only players because people dont "like the idea of twinking" is a somewhat bad decision. now in sigma sp might have the same stash limitations that mp has but i dont think thats really a solution to the problem either. twinkers gonna twink so in my eyes all that not including a shared stash does is make this more of a hassle and clunky mechanic. This as a design decision puts the game backwards instead of updating it and making the game feel more modern which seems to be at least in part what sigma is supposed to do.

I'm in that pack rat/hoarder group as well, I'd be more likely to play online if I had enough room to store just about everything.
