Do you want it to automatically pick items three screens away for you too? Maybe it should also kill monsters for you too. I don't plan on implementing a "drop notifier" because I think the (very extensive btw) drop filtering should be more than enough. Add to that the item tooltip display that's getting rewritten to display all items and not hide some items when there are "too many".
I do understand your point, but IMO that's the kind of features, that when combined with more of this kind, leads to a "no-brainer" game play. And that's not what MXL is about as far as I can tell.
