i think people will just start spamming and it will be like the signature mess we had on old forum..

Spamming would lead to bans, thats why I think its an elegant way to deal with trolls.

@topic: I think posters should at least get 1-auto cookie after 50-posts so they can give/take. I think that after 50-posts, they've given something to the community and if it was only spam they've given, then they get the banhammer. The beauty is in the simplicity I think. That, and make signatures purchasable with fg, but only if you have a minimum amount of posts, or better, cookies, that prove you're a valued member of the forums most likely not going to make annoying and ridiculous signatures. Besides, if you want a sig, then you want to be seen, so you should be posting regularly so I'd expect at least 5+ cookies. Maybe 10 to make it a challenge since I'm not even there yet and I haven't been posting enough to "deserve" a sig anyhow.

Streams:
Don't mark a stream as online if it dosen't have Median or Diablo in the title maybe. Because sometimes people stream other games/stuff.

Cookies:
Maybe allow the users to see the posts where they gave/took cookies as well as posts where they were given/taken cookies from (not necessarily who gave/took them from them). Probably a link in the cookie section in the profile under everything "See your cookie log".

Shoutbox:
reversing the shoutbox message order would probably feel more natural. not sure if you'd have to make the scrollbar auto scroll down when a new message appears, but it's not hard even if not.

This. When I go to the front page, I'm always reading in reverse for a minute before I remember it's reversed...

Yep.

I like the fact that u r being notified if someone quotes u on forum but it would be great if there was some other way to notify a person that they r mentioned, like adding @ in front of their name in ur msg will tell them that they were mentioned here..
