They might solved some problems yes but on the other side they created even more new problems... so this nonsense patch with those small compatibility fixes is biggest blizz d2 patch failure.

Well - we have the issue with people who digitally downloaded d2 1.14a as their base being unable to downgrade or use D2SE, mercenaries bugging out when another player joins the game, unneeded cut off from support from d2vidtest, and more misc. issues.

Their stupid patch broke compatibility with everything. It cannot be rolled back so it means any mod that isn't version-independant no longer works. This is basically 95% of the mods out there, including sigma. In fact, if 1.14 had been released while sigma was out, we would be having huge issues right now.

They didn't fix shit, they only save you 2 minutes of going to shortcut and setting compatibility to XP. However they also broke glide, added new bugs, and their "shiny new mac installer" is broken as hell. 1.14 is a joke. 6 years to make virtually no change in the game (no bigger resolution? REALLY? BRO) is just a huge disrespect for their d2 fanbase. And they even mention how they're working on this every day which is just disgusting.

No, I had planned on releasing a final ultimative patch before blizzard announced 1.14a. Yes, new version gave me bigger incentive to do so, but right now it's stopping me from releasing it.

. didnt even know they messed up that hard. isnt there an option to keep d2 on 1.13d version and apply the mod to it? just an idea..

Would it be illegal to have an archive with the 1.12A installers on the forums? That seems like the quickest "fix", unless there are other things that are being problematic.

Glidewrapper works fine, you just need to downgrade to a previous version to be able to use d2vidtest...
