Will be up shortly, I hope. My isp took down my Internet this morning for downloading the walking dead last night and I guess I have to call them to reactivate it....

Okay, I got my isp back, but wtf, I can't connect to my server! It's up and running but it says connection lost when I type in my password. I am 100% certain I am typing the correct password that I setup and sent to Aahz and have tested it about 20x just now, with/without caps, cut/paste from cmd, fucking everything. How could the password of changed for the server? I'll try resetting my computer and see if that fixes the issue!

EDIT: Whatever, reset fixed it for some reason. Peace.

Nope. But I suspect it's the ethernet cable plugged into the modem, because the plastic clip that holds it in socket broke off... but why it keeps falling out when nobodies home is a mystery!! I'll probably replace the cord later next week.

A possible reason for it to keep falling out is Ghosts! They keep pranking u.

Jk, but maybe the weight of the wire ends up pulling the clip out over time

Hey, I never got an email that my server was down but I noticed it last night and forgot about it till just now and saw my computer auto shutdown after a windows update, but that's not the point... lol, point is I didn't get an email fyi. Anyway, turned computer back on so all is well.

Edit: okay, problem. In cmd when I type telnet 192.168.1.2 8888 it says could not open connection to the host, on port 8888: connection failed. Any idea why after windows updated I'm getting this error? Firewalls are off, no Antivirus, so wtf??

Edit 2: task Mgr says d2gs service is stopped, and when in try and restart it, says The operation could not be completed. Access is denied.... I'm open to suggestions here.

Legend.
I know this may seem retarded but try rebooting your computer.

Lol, seems to have worked as my server is back online. I need to disable fucking windows updates! For some reason, I still can't enter the console through cmd from telnet.... no idea what's up there.

you need to enable telnet as it's off by default on windows, windows update love to screw up your settings...
