Is Level Challenge 0 Neccesary?

I'm just wondering if I'm really missing out on anything, because the boss battle is one I've always had great deals of struggle with.

well you get a charm for it.. so if you're fine with missing the easiest charm in the game, you can skip it.

Edit: What character/skills are you using that it's so hard to complete?

I try Necromancer with boneyard and Druid with elemental. It's just dodging the lightning that's hard for me.

easy with druid and elemental/poison flash. just shoot one or two, then run in a circle, repeat

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but if you can't handle lc0 easily you are going to have some MAJOR trouble with the endgame ubers. Median is a game that emphasizes reaction time much more than most arpgs

each class has a build that can easily do lc0 then do den of evil and use akara after to respec to whatever build you want. also use the 1500 gold signet to buy whatever type of wpn you need to make a build work (i.e. crossbow for buckshot)

This. Median is fast paced for a reason, and with good reaction speed, gear, and build, you will be greatly rewarded.

You can do it kid. LC0 can be normal attacked through. Heck, it could be punched through if you had enough time to devote to it. It is just an exercise in timing and knowing how circles work.

But speaking to the new guys question, is the challenge necessary, the answer is no. But.......look at it this way. All the bonuses on the charm would take

3 Attack speed mos (leaving you 1% short)
3 cast speed mos ditto
3 hit recovery mos ditto
3 block rate mos ditto
2 mana regen mos (leaving you 2% short)
2 run/walk mos
5 dex mos
5 str mos
5 vit mos
5 eng mos
25 gold find mos
1 reanimate mos (and the best you get there is a skeleton)

That's 67 mos worth of bonuses. Assuming non-honorific/crafted gear and a perfect charm.

That's an awful lot of stuff for what is a pretty easy (but time consuming and annoying) challenge. Especially for the starting toon.
