Its BLC 2.0 pretty much. I liked it alot, but at some point of time you had to wait ~10 minutes to have a 5 minutes long match. Also graphics sucked hard too. Battlerite has fixed both of aspects (atleast for now) and feels pretty solid. Biggest "new" thing is probbaly skill upgrading system. At the start of the round you choose one of three skill upgrades. I guess you have to know matchups to choose more useful upgrade but since i dont even know all skills of all chars i cant really comment on it.
Cant either tell how balanced the game is yet, ive played only 2 hours. Tried out that shotgun dwarf guy, I like him a lot.
Ult deals insane damage, prolly its possible to 100 to 0 some squishier char if you hit all the bullets, with last skill upgrade for sure.
Most of the skins are terrible tho
