MXLU: What was your favorite build?

Hello all.

Out of curiosity, I want to hear everyone's opinions here on the following question and criteria:

What were your top two characters/builds of Median XL: Ultimative?

Criteria: In terms of how much fun the character was, how successful it was without a ton of respecs, perhaps you have a very unique build that required rare gear. Whatever works. Lemme know what your top two builds were (and if they're funky, give a brief description of what skill(s)/items made it work and made it so fun to play.

Perhaps this thread will inspire people to try out new characters and open up ideas to new potential builds and playstyles. Lemme know what ya think.

Everything across the board with Assassin , even tho Psychic needs love, likemaybeSingularitycastingonenemieslikemiasmainsteadofatyourfeetwhichisuseless , etc etc.

I just like Assassin as a whole, very technical class where one mistake probably rips you, i like playing non-braindead classes/builds. Other than that, i had lots of fun playing throwbarb, even tho stances on RMB kind of ruin my mojo a lot, but still pretty fun build that got me farther than i was expecting it to get me.

edit : But 2h swordzon wins all ofc.

Only really played druid, but most fun was strength-based caster with freezing gale. Most successful was kraken rat, with various levels of resist stacking making unformed land, uldy + stages, kab farming and yshari sets trivial even without respec.

Haven't tried everything, so my opinion may not count for much.

1.) Melee Sorc (ofc)
My #1 go-to gal. *sings softly* You are my Sunshine, my only Sunshine... Fire proc-based and built around

Whispers of Mirakodus

was kinda interesting. It's not super mega ultra op 1-shot raep all uberz, but I had fun with it.
2.) Dual-claw Assassin using Noctule
IDK what the build's actual name is. Tried it a while ago in SP (and failed hard), but been having fun with it recently on Ladder. More active playstyle, so gotta stay focused. Learning a lot too.

Traprat

Batstrike Sin (No respec needed since I get all charms with limpet laser and use batstrike to farm) and T stone based sorc one hitting bosses is just fun.

i know this is a meme now but i actually really love tantrum. procs are fun and i like the way the skill plays with shift moving around and dropping your little shrapnel flowers all over the place. Its fun to see bosses hp melt with high cb hits. tantrum pal/ barb/sin i even fucked around with a tantrum xbow for funsies. first character i did all the charms with so has a warm place in my heart however the amount of effort required to gear it well vs other characters its definitely not the best. You can do much much better with other classes with very minimal gear investment ie Nitz's limpet laser guide and tons of other builds.

I'm a farmer first and foremost. I've always been a hoarder. For farming purposes I always start with a Traprat or a Lolnado sorc. I had alot of fun using a Xbow necro a couple ladders ago, and I thoroughly enjoyed using a RoL/Lazydin.

This past ladder was fun with the build combos. I had a ton of success using a Fire Cannonade barb. I found it hilariously easy to do anything that didn't involve fire immunes. Mega damage + mega defense = winning.
