Magic Find Magic Number

Hello everyone, i'm a new player, wondering what's your magic number for best finding results

Also favourite spots that allows massive farm, getting or not what is needed for a specific build, might be good for trading..

There isn't a magic number get the largest number MF that you can get without slowing down kill speed a lot. That depends on build of course - but you can look at builds which can take advantage of ethereal

, and keep in mind some builds don't have as many sockets for Lums since they need jewels/gems in slots of character skills.

Best farming is Duncraig in general. TA is my favorite place until I can farm Duncraig easily. There is a very good chance that all of this advice will be outdated with the new patch, though.

you can just use crafted jewels with mf. takes a while to craft decent ones, but should be the best solution without losing too many important stats.
also there is a massive decrease after reaching 400 mf since it gives diminishing returns iirc.

The best answer is simply:

Get as much magic find as you can without sacrificing too much kill speed or survivability.

It has diminishing returns past 300 or 350, but it never drops to a declining slope. The more the better, but keep in mind, quantity > quality for farming is almost always true.

I still need to finish duncraig with that build, but at least i got no problems with unformed land and toraja, that seems very good spots.

Which build is more effective for duncraig? ( My problem there is for rooms you can enter only by teleport.. if i teleport with jitan's gate i die before i can summon and use bts.. maybe there is a class or build that ain't got this kind of problem.. or maybe i just need to improve my skills

If you don't have void charm (2 sec Teleport oskill), melee necro would be the best option for duncraig farm because of timerless jump skill (Angel of Death). Pouncezon can be even stronger, but certainly, much more expensive.

You can use avalanche staff oskill to clear a landing through walls before a jump.

My Pouncezon has 700% MF without any MF Stuff from Triune and still pretty much oneshots everything in Duncraig (up to 4-5 Players).
This is a dedicated MF Gear tho... I'd say 400% (with charms) is absolutly okay.

830 mf, i did 3 runs in toraja clearing all... not a Great Rune, am I missing something (besides luck XD) ?

MF doesn't affect Great Rune, Sk1, or Elemental Stone drops.
