Horadric Staff not dropping in Claw Viper Temple

Got to the Tainted Sun Altar and only got the Viper Amulet dropped from the altar. The unique monster doesn't drop a Horadric Staff. Does anyone encounter the same bug?

It's not a bug, the staff drops in Maggot Lair as in pre-ultimative patches and cLoD.
