i know i know what can i say, im just that interesting owo.

Anyways, been playing a shitton of Black Myth Wukong. Yeah, another soulslike, but this one does not disappoint. It's an amazing game.

If Stellar Blade is a 7 or an 8 for me, i would give this game an easy 9.5, so so close to being a 10 for me. GOTY contender? Yeah i think so.

playing settlers league poe atm, already like 2nd week.

you shouldve known that im kinda stubborn, so...
1. wanted to go through campaign ssf, since i feel like learning back game & powering up is what bring joy to me
2. decided to go with assassin since i never played it, thinking either chaos or DoT focus
3. cleared act 10, and decided to go with hexblast miner
4. learnt very late how the skill work, went through well once i put curse aura
5. getting stuck, so i got help from guild leader for "borrowing" item in guild stash and starting currency (i already have divine at that point)
6. have to work hard overcome anxiety trading, like i delayed buying stuff for 3 days
7. fumbled couple of time during purchase, but still only buying like couple of key items per day
8. discover currency exchange in kingsmarch and i fall in love with it, managed to sell big item for huge amount of currencies
9. bought couple of more items for endgame mapping, now clearing t16 map with ease (still died many times though)
10. atm not sure if i will go for 40/40 challenges or not, i dont feel frustrated like back in affliction

im still stubborn and not willing to spec to trickster though, despite it is meta character atm.

Beat Black Myth Wukong just now and wow. This is your game of the year. I'm calling it. All those years of wait were well worth it. A game made by gamers for gamers. I'm just completely blown away by it. I'll stop sucking its dick now but for real, what an amazing experience.

I don't think I need to recommend it, everyone's probably already played it so yeah

I guess i can just end it earlier since i am waiting for mapper to get 40/40 challenges on PoE

1. Auction house / currency exchange is terrific system that shouldve exist much earlier. GGG just being stubborn and let trading bots do their job instead. This league i managed to gear up without selling any item, not to mention the mechanic is kinda lucractive with divine orb via shipping.
2. I guess this will be the end of my journey with PoE, cant see any reason to continue playing once PoE 2 come out. I do feel burnt out after playing continously for last 3 weeks (as usual), completed it much faster than my time in sentinel league (whole 2 months)
3. As for new stuff since sentinel (since i didnt do much endgame in affliction league, quit because i hate wildwood mechanic), i managed to explore many of new stuff, from sanctum, ultimatum, those new t17 and scarabs. Overall i think removal of sextant was good, but t17 design is freaking terrible with annoying map mods and tunnel-vision map layout.
4. Alas, i didnt like any of the rework stuff from old league. Settler mechanic and gold drop rate made it worse to run stuff like delve or heist, since those rare ore doesnt spawn in any location other than map.
5. Fragments for uber system seem good, especially when you can buy them from currency exchange (weirdly, normal invitation not available since you can modify them)

I ran out of stuff I really wanted to say, I feel burnt out atm. Have been rotating between playing genshin, slay the spire downfall mod and watching anime but i just get bored quit them immediately. I guess I will go sleep early tonight.

Tactical Superheroes Dating Sim ?!
Image
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is the ultimate crossover event combining the rich story, character relationships, customization and progression of an RPG with the tactical strategy and combat mechanics of a revolutionary new card-based tactics game. Set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe, you will forge unbreakable bonds with legendary Marvel Super Heroes and dangerous supernatural warriors in the fight against the world’s greatest threat yet…the demonic forces of Lilith and the elder god Chthon.

After several grindy / annoying roguelike + tactical game, i thought I wanted something more toward xcom style game. Turned out I was lucky that this game exist and I dont have to go other developer games.

Man, lets just say that time flies by when I was playing this game. At core it is a turn based tactic game where you draw cards from 3 characters team that you need to find combination to beat the enemies. Best is that it emphasized on positioning and threat management, where you can use environmental effect to your advantage. Move around, push enemies toward explosive or each others. Outside of battle, you have daily routine where you learn about other characters life just like dating sim games.

The game is pretty good at start, making me want to see the story as i complete the main mission. It have deep lore surrounding your mysterious character (original character for the game) tied in to existing comic book story, although you need to read alot text or listen to conversation dialogue for it. There is one part of game that kinda annoying exploration. It just I wish the game have more depth and less grindy on farming resource. Unlike normal xcom, you dont plan much stuff outside of battle.

Definitely a must play game for everyone. It is bombastic, fun and really charming. If you want more gritty, you can crank up the difficulty mid run although i think the game more fun when you are OP since you are team of superheroes.

Dragon Age : Veilguard

For the record i didnt buy this game, i did the sensible gamer thing to do with games this infamous and pirated it, and even now im regretting the time spent pirating it.

As a DA fan, who's played the fuck out of DA:O and yes even DA2 which is the one i hated the most up until now,.

Lets just wrap this up quick. The strongest part of this game is its VA quality which is not great but its solid enough to not sound hamfisted all the time, with a few exceptions.

The gameplay is terrible. Difficulty translates only in damagesponge enemies, nothing else.

As for the game itself, its very handholdey to the point that it feels like its insulting to the player. Very simple puzzles. "Shallow" doesnt even scratch the surface of the combat mechanics. So we're already off to a great start!

Now the biggest point of contigency and with good reason is how the narrative is pushed to indoctrinate you into social matters instead of immersing you in a world of sword, sorcery and fantasy. Yes as you might have heard this game is woke through and through, even having a 2 or 3 min long cutscene about how your character "mispronouned" another character in game. Bioware really screwed this one up, and im only dreading what will become of the new Mass Effect game they are dev'ing looking at the state of this one.

So yeah, avoid this game like the plague unless you like being told what to do and what to think by twitter mob quality dialogue.

Thanks for this. Huge DA fan here too and I was about to buy/pirate Veilguard myself but after reading this I read some other reviews too and decided to skip this one. Sad really, I was hoping to dive into new DA adventure.

Grim Dawn:
I started to play this again after long long time. "new" patches have really done some wonders to the game and especially QoL, only bad thing is that Grim Internals doesn't work anymore, there is "DPYes" but I haven't tested it, no need to yet. Playing "trio self found", three characters in tandem, Dervish for bossing, caster Cabalist for farming and thorns Commando tank just for fun and harder bosses if I get stuck with the other two. What I love most about GD is the option to target farm rares and even some sets so you don't have to spend 100h+ running zones. And creating huge proc-fests with many items and devotions is just so much fun, feature that I really miss in MXL.

Mass Effect trilogy:
I'm shamed to admit that I never finished it, mostly because my comp couldn't run the third one smoothly. Now I started from the very beginning (again in tandem with both Paragon and Renegade route) and finally going to see the story to the end. Currently at ME2 around halfway. Both are as good as I remembered, especially with many QoL mods, third one is still mystery to me but what I've seen it's pretty similiar to ME2.

Also trying to find some new interesting RPGs/ARPGs to play now that I made a gaming PC, it's just hard to decide, I have missed so much.
