Removed Act 2 and Act 3 shortcut recipes

Why?!
Why do I have to repeat these quests again and again?

And they are not removed. you can still create these items but they have no value in completing quests.....
Last season was nice. you could skip a couple of things like travincal, ancients, a2 with shortcut recipe.

Because they're not working as intended, there were quite a few reports of them not working properly (not being able to complete the quests).

i get this yes. But tell me, i play diablo 2 18 years and im sure 90% of the median players are playing as long as me.
Its annoying to repeat 1500 times the same ***** to get to endgame.

After updating most of my characters have jewelry they can no longer wear as its now to high of a level. WTF did you guys change there?

i also had this issue . it seams that some of the affixes on the jewels now have a different/higher level req.

A3 recipe was working fine. A2 recipe needed you to break the altar in claw temple in order to enter Harem. I don't think there was actually a real problem beyond that. o_o

It's a chance to drop, not guaranteed.

I have a few questions:

1. Please correct me: median XL =/= median XL sigma?? or Can I upgrade median XL to sigma?? are they different version or a patch??
2. i downloaded the patch 1.1.0, but i cant seem to find any mystic orb, arcane shards etc. Did I do something wrong or did I just download the wrong version?

i'm diablo 2 lod player and new to this kind of mod, so please no offence..

Mystic Orbs can only be bought from certain NPC's like Gheed, Alkor, etc. I heard there is one Mystic Orb that can be looted, although I have not encountered yet.

Arcane Shards drop from some of the bosses like Diablo. The most effective way of gaining shards is to disenchant Tiered Uniques via Horadric Cube.

median XL =/= median XL sigma?? or Can I upgrade median XL to sigma?? are they different version or a patch??

mxl:sigma is the latest version of median xl.
older characters from versions of median xl before sigma are not supposed to be compatible with sigma.
so mxl upgrade to mxl:sigma isn't really a normal patch, rather an upgrade to a new modernized version
