Fauzt runes dropping in terror ? Holy paladin melee skill dealing incorrect damage ?
About that last sentence - logic pls. Hope i don't have to give examples for it.
Mahi sent a way better list than what you came up with

As far as the hmp and tw being op, this is a good thing. These skill trees were sitting on the back burner because they were underwhelming and boring. Over-buffing made them impossible to ignore and with proper adjustments they can remain enjoyable

Great runes dropping in t-fauzt probably shouldn't have happened so I don't disagree about that but was it really that big of a deal? There are literally 2 runewords from fauzt worth making and one of them is for adding +1 to max skill levels.
Ahriman

ruined the ladder.

Now that I've had time to think about it more, there were more bugs. I still think the way macro does it now is the right way though. I'm trying to imagine how a bug report thread from the community playing sp would fare against the current way. Sp would have way fewer reports because many ppl don't wanna waste time leveling a character twice, where mp has lots of reports and ton of people who can confirm or recreate bugs/crashes and possibly mention something they did specifically that leads to solving the issue faster. I'm probably being overly pessimistic but part of me thinks that some people would specifically wanna play a patch early just to find bugs they can exploit later for profit, before the bug is found and fixed. While people still do this in mp regardless, at least theres a better chance of someone spilling the beans more quickly. Overall mp is just better for addressing the important shit.
I haven't played a ton of other games but I've seen more game-breaking bugs from bigger names that go much longer without being addressed (thanks chris wilson). These median patches are consistently good overall and even better considering how few ppl are involved in their creation. I've tried 3 other d2 mods over the years and they were all fucking terrible in comparison. Those fauzt runes were a feature.
