The
Chaos Season begins on January 13th alongside a brand new Realm exclusive patch, but that's not all. This season will also feature the
Community Challenges - a set of tasks to test yourself against as a team.
Complete them to unlock powerful new secret runewords -
the Fragments of Chaos. A challenge completed by anyone on the Ladder will reveal the runeword for everyone! Therefore you are allowed and even encouraged to trade, borrow and group with other players for all challenges (apart from one).
Additionally, the first person or persons to complete a challenge will be inducted into the Season 13 Hall of Fame once all challenges are finished.
The Challenges
Completion Requirements in Detail
So you want to complete one of the challenges? Here's what you need to do to claim the reward.► Show Spoiler
Only Ladder characters may participate in these challenges. All challenges are to be completed on Destruction difficulty.
Guardian: Kill destruction Baal on Hardcore and post a screenshot with the output from the /time command visible.
Immortal: Post a screenshot with the output from the /time command visible. Note that the life display on the client overflows above 32767, so you should have above 20233 overflown life.
Forsaken: Post a screenshot of a 0 skill Brachyceran charm with the output from the /time command visible.
Paragon: Post a screenshot of the ladder rankings when you reach level 123.
Headhunter: Post a screenshot of your inventory, with the required items in it, with the output from the /time command visible. Note that the trophies must not be cubed into charms for them to count towards the completion of this challenge.
Trickster: This challenge requires you to record a video and post the link here. Your time starts when you enter the zone via the entrance and stops when Valthek is dead and his drops are visible.
Shadow: Post a screenshot of your open inventory while hovering over the naginata with the output from the /time command visible. You will be required to show all the necessary +max level items required for 31 hard points into Perfect Being into a trade window to an admin, before the reward is unlocked.
Perfectionist: This challenge requires you to record a video and post the link here. Simply defeat Zorun Tzin without ever purifying one of his statues or dying in the process.
Illustrious: Post a screenshot of your inventory, with the required items in it and hovering over the Soulkeeper, with the output from the /time command visible.
Eternal: Post a screenshot with the output from the /time command visible. Both corpses must be fully visible on the screenshot and the minimap must be open such that the Destruction difficulty of the game is clearly visible. Note that corpses disappear if you stray too far away from them, so this challenge requires at least 2 people.
