Goblin Invasion in The Sin War
These fellows are certainly not Santa, but they sure drop a lot of -most likely stolen- loot
Demonic looking creatures have intercepted Santa and have come to ruin Christmas for everyone. An unknown breach, a strange portal never seen before, has allowed them to pursue a complete invasion of Sanctuary. Your task is to find this place and defeat the goblins so they don't attempt further mischief. Thankfully they are harmless, and fear Nephalems more than Diablo himself. Upon spotting you, they will go on the run and try to open a portal to safely go back to their Treasure Realm. You must be quick and swiftly put them down for good, recover all the goods they have stolen before they can escape.

Treasure Goblin
The bread-and-butter of goblins, these demons will drop a multitude of items, including a new item type: Scrolls of Enchantment. These allow you to further customize *all* your gear slots.

Glowing Baron
Barons love gold more than anything, and they secure theirs with strong armor and high physical resistance. If you manage to kill them before they escape, you'll be rewarded with massive piles of gold.

Arcane Collector
These goblins have mastered the art of thievery, and are especially keen on rare crafting materials, including unique mystic orbs and effigies, their favorites.

Shiny Hoarder
Hoarders are fascinated by unique items, especially Sacred ones. When they run out of space in their bag they usually disenchant their weaker items for Arcane Crystals.

Voided Horror
Goblins that die are sent to The Void, and this enabled a new mutation that made them more resilient than ever before. Voided Horrors don't drop loot, instead, they split into 3 Voided Spawns upon death.

Voided Spawn
Spawns are faster than Horrors, and similarly, do not drop any loot. Upon death however they will once again split into even faster and smaller creatures: Voided Globs.

Voided Glob
These tiny demons are the fastest and they enjoy watching heroes struggle after them: they will all run in different directions, increasing the odds that one, if not all, will successfully escape.

Rift Inspector
Inspectors love to roam in farm zones, especially endgame rifts with a specific bias. As such, depending on where you find one, their stolen loot will be specific to that place. So far, 12 different types are known.

Trophy Seeker
Trophy Seekers thrive on heroes that die in locked zones and are unable to pick their loot. You must find these rare goblins and re-claim what's yours. They can drop all fragments, and even charms.

Relic Thief
If you find one, consider yourself extremely lucky. Thieves are masters of disguise and are seldom seen in the wild. You'd be wrong thinking they drop a relic, as they can actually drop multiple ones.

Rainbow Goblin
Not a lot is known about these goblins, other than that they may be the ones responsible for the breach... and that they cannot be killed by normal means.

???
Someone must be behind all of this...
Rainbow Storm
A whisper from the ruins of Tristram mentions a new device which may be the key to ending this madness. The Staff of Herding itself cannot be found in the wild, but plans to build one may be uncovered in Tristram as you save Deckard Cain. This powerful staff provides a new anti-goblin skill: Rainbow Storm. This seemingly fun looking spell is nothing if not deadly, and all players should have one in their stash, just in case... Those who decide to use the skill not only to kill goblins but as the foundation of their build, will be rewarded with ludicrous amounts of magic find. This staff holds many secrets, including the possibility to learn Telekinesis, which may be of great use this season...
