Heroic Library of Fate rifts
- Consisting of two zones: Area Level 125 and Area Level 130, providing an alternative levelling path to the old Rifts
- Map will be randomly selected from a pool of 4 options with every new game
- You may randomly encounter new monsters, champions of the Archangels, with better drops
- The Angel bosses will now fight back instead of being idle
- No more annoying Lightwells with punisher spam
- These Heroic Rifts will be the only source of Angelic items as well as obtaining the mythical Soulforge
- Can be accessed as soon as you meet the level requirement if you have obtained the Zakarum's Ear
Rares Revamped
Making rare items viable in the endgame and giving players deterministic crafting strategies
The Soulforge
- A brand new crafting system that allows you to modify Sacred and Angelic rare items, as well as create some exclusive uniques
- It allows you to perfect the rare items you find by adding missing affixes that turn an otherwise mediocre item to great
- For example by adding a + "Maximum Damage" roll to your Physical weapon or +"Fire pierce" to your Fire caster boots
- Soulforge crafting works in tandem with the rare affix rules used by Diablo 2:
- The item cannot have more than 3 prefixes or 3 suffixes, and 6 affixes in total
- You cannot craft an affix that is already present on the item
- You cannot have more than one affix from the same group on the item
- In total there are nearly 100 recipes, which allow you to tailor any rare item to your character with minimal randomness
Angelic Items
- A new tier of items, higher than Sacreds, which are of Rare rarity only
- They have the following base properties:
- Base damage higher than equivalent Sacreds, with the same speed modifiers
- No speed penalties on armors, boots cannot spawn with less than 30% Movement Speed
- Scepters and caster staves can only spawn caster affixes, Battle Staves cannot spawn caster affixes
- Always have maximum sockets
- They can't get the worst affix tiers unlike endgame Sacreds, and have higher chances to spawn the best tier affixes
- They can also spawn new higher tier affixes, making them competitive with Runewords and Sacred Uniques

A bombastic set of balance changes by you and for you!
- We have gathered extensive feedback from our community, including our Patreon supporters and beta testers
- As a result, this patch includes big improvements for many builds:
- Spear Amazon
- Weapon damage Assassins
- Windcarver Barbarian
- Malice and Summoner Necromancers
- Templar Paladin
- Caster Sorceresses
- As well as multiple smaller changes to other builds
- Buffs to multiple underpowered sets
- Buffs and/or reworks to over 60 unpopular Sacred Unique weapons
- Multiple improvements to the accessibility of later Endgame quests - making them less grindy and more fair
An end to the Pandemonium
- With Christmas festivities long behind us we will be rolling back the seasonal features of the Pandemonium season
- This includes: goblins, rift monster populations, dungeon boss challenges, special relics, seasonal items
- Existing special relics won't be disabled, so make sure to grab some for your non-ladder collection if you want them!
