Well the Traprat did get one huge nerf: "Second Chance". The morph bug upon death, making the druid survive with 1 hp instead.
That bug was a godsend in so many places, even more so once you got Vizjun charm. "Die", blast wave all enemies on "death", Pagan Rites for full HP, remorph into Traprat. Rinse and repeat.
