Short Questions Thread

So I got the 1.13 version running as shown above.
But as soon as I hit the Create game button, it continue to load for a few seconds and the error appeared.

You didn't answer if you're using d2se or not, if you are you need to do what Jampula wrote above (which is written in the readme.txt)

If you aren't then you just need to extract the whole 1.2 archive to your d2 dir (including all the .dll files). And yeah set compatibility to win xp sp2 and tick run as admin. Works fine on W10.

I did as you suggested, but neither WinXp Sp3 nor Win7 mode work for me. I still got the same error while loading into the game. This is a bit annoying since my computer can handle Diablo requirement. Just don't know why it is not running like it supposed to be.

Sorry man I got that answer a bit late. I'm not using d2se.
I extracted the whole folder median-1.2.0 which have Fog.dll, msvcr110.dll, MXL.dll, patch_d2.mpq and READ ME.txt and paste to the Diablo 1.13 folder.

You haven't enabled run as administrator. Also test in single player first

Thanks man for your help. It's still not working when I run it as administrator in both win7 and winXp compatibility.
I also tested in single player. It still the same error.

Yes I can get the game running until the lobby. But I got the error when making new game as below:
