They actually don't, it's speculation from the players here. All servers use the same patch and therefore use the same base data for real-time drop calculations.

I found a Qor, x3 Ghal and a Taha in a single Dfauzt run, then the next 3 runs give nothing. Not even an empy band.
Ofc they all give a unique jewel that tricks me into thinking it's a cotw but it's a god forsaken farsight globe.
