It's gonna be a bit weird in the long run cause tiered uniques can be crafted within the first 30-60 minutes of starting a new character and they will generally drop a lot.

they're guaranteed drops on all act bosses and normal nihlathak is guaranteed to drop 3 every time. furthermore, every tiered unique is craftable so finding useable uniques isn't really a big deal

This mod has high drop rate for unique items, especially tiered ones which are craftable - disenchant 10 uniques that you don't need to create one you need.
And then at the endgame the drop rate for set and sacred unique items isn't that low either. You will go through Kurast with 200-300 MF and collect 10 sets + 1-3 sacred uniques per run and that's not a big deal.

If you never played Median XL before then you might find yourself excessively lucky but this is normal. And the game only starts very easy, it will pick up in difficulty later on. On Normal difficulty all I need is my character main attack skill and some random runewords (which are made with just 1 rune btw). Then when I reach the end of normal I'm farming nihlathak to get some uniques for nightmare - the game becomes noticeably harder on nightmare, especially bosses that receive massive health pools. But the game keeps up with giving you the tools - honorific items, socket fillers, mystic orbs.

Now 6 uniques in Act 1 normal. This is normal? Is there a difference on TSW, because Carter there has only found maybe 2 and she's close to entering the Arcane Sanctuary, or does TSW RNG just not like me?

Drop rates on single player are 3x iirc
